Am I the only one thinking Alison Porter is starting to become a screaming one-trick pony? Her last 3 performances have been pretty bad and that Janis Joplin meets Celine Dion version of Stay with me Baby was awful.

I'm starting to wonder that too.

Laith is the best, then Adam. I liked Alyson and thought she was finally getting that singing everything at 11 was not the way to go but last week she returned to blasting away.

I have not been watching but watched through a few youtubes. Loved the Blue Bayou song by Alison then saw she was the lead in the Curly Sue movie back in early 1990s. I remember her singing the National Anthem in that movie and thinking wow. The gal can sing.

IMO, the correct four were chosen. My preferred winner from #1 to #4 :

1. Al-saadi
2. Wakefield
3. Huston
4. Porter

Can't stand Hannah, she is such a cold fish.

Alison was ruined by Christina, every song doesn't need a melt your face moment...Desperado is a classic and she butchered it at the end.

Adam is fantastic.

Laith is who I want to win and have since the blinds.

Having said that, I think it will be between Adam...Blake's country vote influence...and Alison since it has been clear since day one the producers want to have a female coach win it.

no. not really, & the only reason i say that is because it looked like based on comments on articles i had read as well as itunes that adam wakefield had gained plenty of momentum & could possibly beat alisan. in fact, i thought he was going to beat her up until the moment carson daly said her name as the winner.

Naw, they wanted Christina to get the win. Just go back to Monday, Alisan got the pimp spot to cap the show, and the entire talk up of her story and how great it would be for a female judge to get the win. I even think that Adam and Blake went really bland with their guys in the finale, while Christina suddenly realized America was getting sick of having their faces melted off, so we got a controlled Alisan.

Hate to say it but it was fixed from the opening night of the blinds.

well, i did believe that until i noticed on itunes that adam was doing better then her(his original song was number 1), & people were really gravitating towards him. heck, i even noticed before she was announced as the winner that alisan looked like she was bracing herself to hear adam's name instead of hers.
