The Walking Cowboys

They don't get paid enough to jog briskly back to the huddle. Need more zeroes on that paycheck.

Just another reason why we've basically been a .500 team for years. Too many people associated with this organization either don't care, are terminally stupid, or both.

It's not that they don't care. They enjoy the spoils of winners...without actually having to win. Play in the worlds best stadium. Play in primetime. Play on thanksgiving. Have the biggest fanbase. Pose with celebrities during training camp. Trophy case with 5 Lombardi trophy's. Jerry usually has the highest payroll...so they are getting paid. All of these things that you should enjoy AFTER you win...but we get that without having to win...so I think the fact that we do not WIN does not impact them like it should. Too, too, too comfortable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't get a chance to see this after the game.

That's just mindblowing. Not one player, not two, but basically the entire offense is lollygagging around instead of hustling back to the line.

I can't believe how pathetic an effort that is.

People say we didn't quit in this game--but this video looks an awful lot like quitting

Or we are a dumb team with no situational awareness, that was Ogletree and Austin, veterens who are jogging back ???

I still think there was some expectation that a TO was going to be called. You're right, its not one player having a mental freeze up (like Dez arguing with the ref over the spot), its the whole team looking around wondering what is going on. There is no way Garrett made it clear to his team that the plan was to run a play, then hustle back to the line and run another one (as dumb as that plan was in the first place).

I don't believe Garrett's "everyone was too tangled up" excuse after the game. Who was tangled up in that video? There was a massive mis-communication there, there is no way around that, and he's not owning up to it.

Yup. It looks to be a bunch of players who don't know what they are supposed to be doing.

A familiar sight.

That is lack of preparation. The coaches are to blame here.

Although the film of Ogletree walking looks bad, why would you send your receivers that far down the field if you needed to rush another play, clock the ball, etc.? That's on the coach.

Garrett stuck his head in the sand and deflected blame...again. It looked as if the whole team knew a TO was going to be called except Romo.

There was a mis-communication error somewhere after the PI. Maybe there was 2 plays called back-to-back but Romo didn't translate it to the team, IDK what happened there. Romo was the only one who was ready to run another play, the rest were loli-gagging around.

If this were the first time clock management was an issue, then I could chalk it up to pressure, but it was not and probably will not be the last.

This just blows my mind, I hope they are lit up by the coaches when they review the film.

I sucked but I never needed a damn coach to tell me to sprint back to the line of scrimmage in this situation.

Make them run sprints all day long today to get them into shape so they can run back to the LOS in a timely fashion when there is less than 30 seconds to play.

Apparently, adults need to be treated like children in the NFL. Hopefully Garrett realizes that.

Hand most people a huge pile of "screw you" money and I guarantee most people's ambitions would drop off a cliff.

That's why I believe you gotta keep the pressure up and constantly churn that roster to bring in hungry, aspiring players that are ambitious to move up the ladder. Save the big, long term contracts for those rare folks that don't need to be motivated and build your team around guys like this.

Ogle shouldnt be on this team. Its like hes still living on the Giants game success.

Absolutely agree. It's sad to admit but until today I never fully grasped how detrimental Jerry has been to the organization. I've always ignored it and refused to truly acknowledge it. I still don't want to because there are a bunch of people on this site that I respect a lot who think otherwise. I just can't lie to myself anymore. This idea that you pump up players and try and convince them they are better than they really are with a ton of money doesn't work. Players need to work at getting better. Paying them a ton of money to convince them they are better than they really in an effort to get more out of them doesn't work. You don't see it on the field.

The only players that deserve big contracts are Ware, Witten, and Romo.

I don't think it's quitting so much as it is stupidity and disorganization.
