The Cowboys continue to play hard even though their season is pretty much over. They beat up the Panthers last week in a game where many including myself thought that the Cowboys would lose. The one thing that the Cowboys continue to lose each week are players and I have never seen anything like this since I've starting watching Cowboys football many many years ago. So now they play the Buccaneers who are in the playoff race themselves and really need this win as well the Cowboys are playing for pride and a mid range draft pick. The Buccaneers are a very underrated bunch who can score and play defense. Quarterback Baker Mayfield was offensive player of the week last week and he'll put a lot of pressure on the Cowboys defense. The Cowboys on the other hand are using Rico Dowdle more and more each week and they are having a lot of success doing it plus the defense is getting sacks and turnovers. So how do I see this game playing out Sunday night, I just think that the Buccaneers really need this game and it should be competitive but I like the Bucs because the Cowboys are extremely undisciplined when it comes to getting penalties and you don't beat good teams by being stupid.

The backups, second teamers, and practice squad guys are playing hard. I know this isn't a popular opinion, but too many of the starters seem to have just flat out quit, and that sucks for the fans. The season isn't going your way so you say screw it, I'm not playing? I know no one is actually saying that, but appearances are speaking volumes in this case.

They might be playing for pride but they aren't playing for a mid range pick.

Players don't think about next years draft picks or where the Cowboys will be picking in each round.
Honestly, only fans make a big deal about what pick their team has. There's value to be had at every pick and I appreciate the play to win approach and let the picks fall where they may. Our scout team does a really good job at most rounds outside of of the 2nd no matter where we pick. The tankers believe we have to be within the top 10, yet, IIRC, CeeDee, Micah, zak Martin, and D ware were chosen outside of the top 10...yet we had morris claiborne, zeke Elliot Terence newman, and tyron smith as our most recent inside the top 10 (Which T Smith was really one that I think was worth a top 10 pick).

Cowboys have no business against Tampa. Their offense is pretty good and ours is not. Rush can barely score 20 points per game.

(In bold^^^): They should be, especially if they plan on being back with this team next season. Players know where they need help, and they also know the higher you draft, the higher quality of a player you can draft (or be able to trade down to get more draft picks...which are needed).

Too bad today's players are like today's coaches......all selfish who only care about their paychecks.

Of course players don’t, but fans that want a better future do. This team will play hard and be coached hard, but they will lose because they are not disciplined enough against good teams and because Rush is a clutz who has a weak arm. If he is able to get rid of the ball on his first read he is okay, otherwise he sucks!

Are you talking about the players, or our resident tankers?

The higher your draft picks in every round the better chance of picking better players. This is common sense!

I hope we lose 3 competitive games to end the season and get a 8-11 pick.

The odds maybe better yet there are no guarantees. Just think every year they do the hypothetical redrafts and so many of the middle to lower round picks move up while the higher picks move down in the redrafts based on actual performance of the picks. You can still get high quality at every pick...
So just play to win and let the draft picks play play out however they land.

And the FO if they have a semblance of a brain cell.

You want Payton Manning or Ryan Leaf? Yeah, doesn't matter where you pick, not at all.

Buccaneers have a good offense, their defense is lacking somewhat.
Cooper rush just outright sucks.
Team over achieved a little bit, but it’s over
LOL, I cringe every time he drops back. But hey, there are plenty of backups that are worse.

We are playing 3 good teams to finish so 3 losses and coaching change to follow.
