The Way I See It Sunday

So once again the Cowboys have them another inferior opponent this Sunday when they play the Giants. Now you would think that this would be a lay up for the Cowboys right but not so fast my friend. As banged up as the Giant are they always play hard against the Cowboys regardless of the records and I see no reason why they won't this week. Unfortunately for the Giants they'll have a couple of good players out so it will definitely be an uphill battle for them if they wanna beat the Cowboys. Not having their starting quarterback Daniel Jones and their up and coming receiver Toney will make it very difficult for the Giants to score point plus Saquon Barkley is nursing a bad ankle so that's not good either. The Cowboys on the other hand are pretty healthy with the exceptions being Tony Pollard and Tyron Smith who should sit out and heal up for the playoffs. On the other side of the ball the Cowboys defense is playing with a ton of confidence and making a lot of plays and they've become the talk of the league especially that one Micah Parsons who can not be blocked. I see more of the same from the defense this week forcing two or three turnovers and getting somewhere in the range of 5 to eight sacks. So with all that being said I think that the Giants are going to have a lot of difficulty getting the ball down the field in passing situations because Toney is out and the Cowboys defensive front will put too much pressure on that Giants o-line and they'll eventually be overwhelmed because they'll so outmatched so get ready for a lot of short and intermediate passes from Mike Glennon and that won't get it done.

Cowboys 28
Giants 13

We are going to rest anyone who needs it such as DLaw, Pollard, Zeke etc...I don't see anyone who is less than 95% healthy playing this game and before you say everyone is less than at this point in the year...you know what I mean. This is going to result in a close game in the end but I would think we should have the lead the entire time.

Garrett is going to put his best foot forwa...oh wait.:flagwave:

Disagree. If Docs okay people to play without significant risk of re-injury or making injury worse they will play. Rest will come if the team demonstrates complete control of the game at some point, and maybe in the course of the game before that in the form of a rotation.

Should be an offensive tune up to re-gain a little confidence. Do not think a lot should be made of this victory.

This is an extremely poor opponent whose both lines are seriously lacking in talent.

Mike Glennon as a QB is barely at a pro level if he is.

Regardless of division game this is NOT a good111 opponent.

The defense should truly dominate.

31 to 9 Dallas.

Fans often make the mistake of seeing a wide open, high scoring affair where all problems are solved when playing a poor team this time of the season.
  1. Giants players are not going to lie down; vets will be playing for future contracts and youngsters for respect.
  2. Coaches are coaching for jobs.
  3. Defenses tend to stunt and blitz and experiment with new looks; this results in some big plays, but also makes it hard to find continuity and sustain drives.
  4. On offense, once the better team has a lead, they tend to play more conservatively to assure the win and not give away anything, including field position.
  5. If Dallas uses this game to get anything going, it is more likely to be a stubborn relentless approach to running the ball because you aren’t going far in the postseason if you can’t run.
I see us winning somewhere more like 24-13, accompanied by even more fan dissatisfaction, grumbling, and blaming.

It's hard to guess what the Cowboys offense will show up as on Sunday, but I predict the Cowboys defense will have the Giants offense completely deflated by half time.
