The way I see it...

Odds were, we were gonna have to fight for our playoff lives against Philly anyways (Most likely). Everbody knew that. And look, we're still in the EXACT same position we were in before last night. We beat Philly, were in. The loss to the Ravens hardly hurt us at all (since Tampa lost today), because even if we did beat them, and then lost to Philly...we still wouldn't have made it (Most likely). I'd rather lose last night's game then next week's game, history-related or not. This next game is the one that decides whether or not we deserve it.

I don't agree about it not mattering. We are still a strong defensive candidate. Pittsburg and Baltimore have very, very good teams and we played them pretty well. We just hurt ourselves too much.

I never say it didn't matter. I'm just saying the Philly game is WAY more important.
