The way I see this season (prediction)

I think we have the horses to get to 10-11 games and that might be enough for the NFC East

I think so too. I think that would put us into the 3 seed if that were to happen (by default because I think the NFC South will be terrible like usual).

You're a Thoroughbred.....our linebackers were gelded donkeys

Well, I'm a Clydesdale lol, but close lol. But yeah, that's true about our LBers last year.........and the year before and year before lol. Honestly, that's one of the things that really gets me excited about our team this year. We finally seem to have competent linebackers and a solid dline. We might finally not be terrible up the middle.

Dak should have no excuses this season. If he can get any semblance of even top 20 OT play he should be lighting up the scoreboard. It’s put up or shut up time for Dak. He has everything he needs around him to succeed (assuming even moderate OT play).

The defense may or not be fabulous. But I can’t imagine that the defense will not be much improved over last year. Unless our defense is EBERFLUS II this season, Dak needs to show out and dominate the NFL. He’s certainly being paid to.

NFC Everything points to the Rams but with Stafford’s previous back issues everything is on him.
The 49ers are an old team with Bosa and Kittle coming off injuries and Mcaffery having a lot of miles on him I don’t see them winning. Leaves the Eagles and they lost AJ brown and Barkley is old.
Could come down to the Lions or Bears. Two excellent QBs along with Seattle and Darnold.
In the AFC I think the Broncos, Bills and Ravens are the best teams. Denver wins the SB beating the Seahawks.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’m expecting the eagles to wet the bed this season. Hurts is limited and that team is ripe for an implosion.

Barkley isn’t dynamic anymore. Neither is Hurts. Lemon is an unknown. I could see that offense REALLY being challenged to put points in the board. I could EASILY see PHILLY turning into a stinking dumpster fire.

Agreed. If the team is healthy and we have on defence what I think we have and if the oline can be solid, then this should be a very good team. If all that is the case and we're still unsuccessful, then I think next draft, we might see a QB get their name called. I think Dak's contract expires after next season, so it wouldn't be out of the realm for a QB to sit a year behind him. I don't expect Jerry wants to go through a round 3 with him, and he's probably going to try to have some serious competition for Dak if he can't pull through if all conditions are such that the excuses are none.

They were 12-5 last year and we won 7 games.
Just offensively they lost Pearsaw. Debo is older, Aiuk is long gone, Kittle is coming off a bad injury and older and CMC will likely regress given his age and volume of touches last year.

I like Scribbling quite a bit, but wouldn't be suprised to see them take a step back.

You think we are gonna beat the Niners and Greenbay ......... Why?
I dont think GB improved either. Jacob's being on the commissioners list could be long term, and at a minimum is a distraction. Watson is really good, but hes had the same problem every year. He cant stay healthy, on top of that they let their wr depth go. Maybe Golden takes a step forward, Kraft can be really good and Lloyd is another one its tough to rely on.

Parsons won't be full steam until 7 or 8 weeks in I magine. Maybe that helps him keep his legs for the back half. They also lost key pieces which are in Dallas.

I think GB has a lot of questions marks and would take Detroit and maybe Chicago over them.

Exactly, and I think they will be a distant 3rd in their division. Plus, the game will be in Dallas, so that's an advantage for us imo.

Exactly, and what's to say it doesn't take him longer to come to full strength. Frankly, I kinda see, especially with the injuries they had last year, kind of a rebuilding year. And, like I said, we drew with them with a terrible defence on our part. So I think, if we play at our best, that we should be able to beat them.

Debo is 30, CeeDee is 27, Kittle is way better than anything we got at TE, and CMC is way better than anything we got at RB.

Dak is older than all of them and never stays healthy 2 years in a row. ......... Silly arguments
