The way McCarthy is calling plays shows he has no trust in Dak

It is obvious MM does not think Dak has the long ball capability , nor the improvisational talent when facing a pressing defense.
Dak knows he cannot get fired and has no job insecurity at all. I think his attitude shows it. No audibles or any crativity.
This is the type of game where a QB like romo would have won. Dak again cannot bail the defense when it has a tough day, I hope this season can be salvaged and that this is a fluke game. But it is concerning .

Dak and McCarthy both suck. Who cares. Both of them need to be gone by the end of the year alongside Scott Linehan’s imposter. I’m willing to give Quinn one last game/chance to show he can fix things following Diggs injury, but if he can’t stop the anemic Patriots offense, he can leave too.

None of these coaches and players compliment each other. At all.

No it shows that he is trying to play that stupid TOP, complimentary football game.

No QB can be successful with the game going as it did last night.
Really? That's exactly what ARI did to us all night last night. That's exactly what took Philly to the super bowl.

It's the high flying quick scoring O's that QB's can't be successful w/, you've got it backwards.

Mahomes was starting to lose until he switched to exactly that.

I do not think this is a good take. I think the Cowboys were worried about the OL holding up so they called a lot of plays to get the ball out of Dak's hand. I think Dak was sensing the pressure too.

But I will admit, the Cowboys need to try to get the ball downfield more often. I also think they need to get Dak's feet involved down near the goal line.

I like the fact that he was chewing Dak up on the sidelines after that INT. But yup, that's why he was calling those run plays in the redzone even though we was wasting time.
If Dak is really that bad, that he can't even be trusted to pass w/ the game on the line, then it is beyond time to move on. Rush would've been better last night.

They generated a bunch of explosive plays, and that's exactly what the Eagles do. They lead the league in explosives last year.

Dallas lost yesterday because they couldn't stop giving up big plays and couldn't generate any, not because of the TOP baloney.

Complete opposite. The explosive plays happened because we couldn't stop their TOP plays. TOP plays open up the big plays. You must have both. One dimensional O's lose in the playoffs, which is why Mahomes changed his game.

Philly made a ton of explosive plays last year. What are you talking about?

And for the record, we weren't one dimensional last year on offense ourselves. This is a limited offense by design. McCarthy is a boob and is paired with what's basically a decent QB, at best.

Due to running the ball a ton. What are YOU talking about?!!!!! Philly's rushing O was 5th last year. Being competent at consistently moving the ball is what opens up the big plays.

Their QB accounted for a huge chunk of their rushing yardage. They played wide open last year with a lot of downfield passing.

If you think what McCarthy is doing here is in line with what Philly did last year, LOL.

Pretty sure MM called a very similar game to the first two. No one said a word.....but the red zone issue is concerning. The red zone is all about execution and play design. I'm amazed how some OCs can design/call plays ( red zone ) that make it look so easy.

Because we won and the defense dominated. But anyone who was honest with themselves wasn't exactly impressed with how the offense looked those first two games.

Nope. Wrong. Dobbs had a 44-yard run on their second play of the game on 2nd and 8.

TOP does not matter. Explosives matter, and when you get those you can control the clock. The only way an offense is one dimensional is if it can't create explosives. You have a backwards opinion of what makes good NFL offenses. The Cowboys had a terrific run game last night, but it didn't matter, because they couldn't generate big plays.
