You asked a silly question. Every time Aikman made the playoffs he had some great players around him. The team didn’t make the playoffs all because of him. Go look up his playoff record.

So the argument is that Aikman was the product of the team around him? Because let me te You Aikman faced some great teams. Romo nor Dak had to face legendary teams.
They lost to a Giants team that barely made the playoffs lack of talent wasn’t a issue in 2007.
Romo had a Pro Bowl regular season in 2007 but he didn’t play to that level in the playoffs. He had some HOF talent on those teams with TO, Witten and DWare. Romo took apart the Giants twice during the regular season but struggled against them in the playoffs. We’re just rehashing old tiring arguments.
No, I'm merely pointing out that NO quarterback can do it by himself. Troy had a great rushing game, Irvin, a very good O-line, and of course, a great coach to build that team.
So Crayton dropping the biggest 3 rd in the game , after escaping the rush , that would have either extended the drive , flip the field and or score was Romos fault? Or Crayton stopping his route on a perfectly thrown ball for the win was Romos fault? If Crayton makes either one of those plays? It’s over. Fasano dropping a TD before the half Romo did not lose that Game.
No one did that day or in the other big losses. It’s been the same thing with Dak. I’ve never put it all on Romo the way many put it all on Dak. If the team struggles, the QB will struggle regardless who the QB is. Look no further than Mahomes in his two SB losses.

I agree but are we pretending that Romo didn’t have good teams? In 2007 the Cowboys lost to a bad Giants team. Cowboys faced far superior teams in the 90s.
That bad Giants team won the SB. Either they caught fire, got incredibly lucky, cheated, or every team in the playoffs sucked.
I mean maybe all of the above. Them winning the SB doesn’t make the Cowboys losing to them any better. Top to bottom the Cowboys were a better team.
