OK so this is it come Sunday night when we get to find out if the Cowboys are legit and if the Eagles are the best team in the league. For the Cowboys, the game plan is pretty simple run the ball and play great defense and if they do that they'll win the game. For the Eagles, they are going to have to do everything they can to protect Hurts because the Cowboys have many players that can get to the quarterback in a hurry especially that freak of nature Micah Parsons. The one thing that I love about this game is that the Eagles are undefeated and in the past 30 plus years the Cowboys have beaten more undefeated teams than anyone else i.e. the 91' Red skins, 06' Colts, 09' Saints. Bottom line here is the Cowboys love to win close low-scoring games and I think that continues.

Cowboys 19
Eagles 16

You're probably right, but ....

Oh man, do I hope that Rush can pass for 3+ TDs and the Cowboys can win by 20+ points to extend the streak of such games to 4 in a row.

Then we all can remind Eagles fans that no matter who the Cowboys throw out there, be it Dalton, Prescott or Rush, our QB is better than your QB.

We could could get shutout and lose by 2 TDs and I'm not really going to be phased...

We'll know how good the team is after Thanksgiving (per Parcells) after a few games with QB1.

Cowboys have a chance.
It probably comes down to turnovers.

Very iffy to me.
Hurts is playing well, and I believe their offense is second in the league. And the beagles are at home. Their defense is just below Dallas.
It's their offense that'll be troublesome for the cowboys: top 5 passing; top 5 rushing.
If I was a betting man I'd say beagles by 2.

20 minutes into the game people will want to fire Kellen Moore, say our defense is getting exposed and beg Prescott to come back.

The Dak fans will, no matter how it's going.
Cowboys fans won't, no matter how it's going.

One thing they're not going to prepare for is in all out passing attack so I think we ought to hit with that then break out the run later
And for heavens sake use Turpin and Pollard in the slots and stacks and make them sweat....play action!!!!

I was just thinking about this before, it seems that the Cowboys have a knack of handing undefeated teams their first loss of the season. That's why I'm glad Philly won this week. I'd be more worried about a 4-1 Eagles team coming off a loss than I am about a high-flying confident 5-0 team.

Such foolishness. What is one consistent thing that this team has shown?

Failure when expectations are high.

Ever since the Johnson Era ended, it’s the same story every year. This is a classic game where all cards could be in our hands if played correctly. However, many of you seem to be forgetting that this is the Dallas Cowboys after all. When it’s on the line, this team falters. Severely. What happened last season under the playoff lights against the 49ers? Loss. What happened when we played the same Rams in the playoffs who eventually went on to embarrassingly lose in the Super Bowl a few years ago? Loss. Raising your expectations like this is why Cowboys fans have the image we have today as the helpless romantics of the NFL.

Eagles outmatch and outwit this team in more ways than one. Let’s just say many of you will be disappointed come Monday morning. I would of course be delightful to proven wrong, but to reread the story and expect a different ending is the definition of insanity. And what do you know? That miraculous medical event is happening right here on this forum.

I think the score will more like Eagles 22, cowboys 13.

our game plan is now obvious, run and run some more, even if you are not getting 4 yards, 3 yards is adequate. Eagles are going to sell out on stopping the run on first downs and force us to pass. our pass blocking is not great and they have two of the top 10 pass rushers and strong up the middle where we are the weakest on OL (Martin excluded).

if we don't come out and play aggressively, specially on first downs. we are not going to have much of a chance. and this is going to most probably end up as a battle of field positions. they have better chance of converting 3rd downs, specially on short yardage, with Hurts ability to run and Brown playing in the slot and catching some short passes with opportunities for YAC. they will probably more often have a shorter field to deal with and probably end up in more field goal opportunities. our offense has been inconsistent, so long drives make it difficult for us to get many chances to score.
