It’s weird but does anyone else feel like there is 0 pressure on the Cowboys? Everyone expects them to lose, and if they do, “they had their backup in” will be the mantra. Honestly I think some FO people secretly hope we lose, because if we win….

…I’m legitimately not trying to create drama, but if we win, won’t we all quietly expect Dak to win out with this defense, and be extremely critical if we don’t? We will have beaten both Super Bowl teams, an otherwise undefeated Giants and the undefeated Eagles…with our backup. If we win, how can that not sit in the back of our minds as we watch the rest of the season?

We shall see tomorrow!!

Jerrah only wants to win on HIS terms. Hence letting JJ walk after 2 Super Bowl wins. In his mind he looks stupid if Dak is unnecessary after making him the cornerstone of the franchise. The last thing he wants is more success with a boring backup QB

That's a pretty good point. At this point in the season, those look like pretty big accomplishments. I don't know how beating those teams will look in hindsight at the end of the season, but for now it seems like expectations would be high... maybe unfairly high...but it's not completely unwarranted to expect the team to be much, much better when the franchise QB comes back.

If Rush has a horrible game, that's one.
If he continues to play horrible and costs the team games, he has to go.
Dak has already done that.
