After beating up the "Commanders" the Cowboys go to Denver who have beaten the Cowboys seven straight times and the last time the Cowboys beat Denver in Denver was in 1992 (Great game btw). The Cowboys' offense is very good and their defense showed signs of life last week. Denver barely got by the Giants, scoring 33 point in the fourth quarter the second most of all time. They also have one of the best defenses in the league and their offensive line is also very solid. So how do I see this game playing out? I never feel very good when the Cowboys travel out west especially to Denver plus Dak and the offense can't keep up this pace forever (Can they?) so I'm very conflicted but I will say this if the Cowboys win it could be a turning point in the right direction I just don't like their chances in the thin air so I'm gonna take the Broncos in a tight one.

Denver 28

The Cowboys looked like a team destined to drag its way through the season when they lost two of their first three games, but they have fought their way back into the NFC playoff picture, going 2-1-1 over their past four games.

Against Washington the defense for Dallas was shook up.

Eberflus shook up his defensive lineup giving James a chance and it paid off. He finished tied with Murray with nine total tackles and two quarterback hits. What helped James thrive on Sunday was the changes Eberflus made to his scheme. The defense blitzed a lot more than they have all season, and on one of those plays James had his signature moment of the day.

James played the whole game and looks like he is ready to be a starter moving forward.

If he can build off this performance, this linebacker room will be in even better shape when Overshown returns

3. Jadeveon Clowney

After the Micah Parsons trade and seeing his defense struggling after two weeks, Jerry Jones brought in help in the form of Jadeveon Clowney. Despite his slow start, Clowney had his best game as a Cowboy against the Commanders https://thelandryhat.com/these-cowb...emselves-impossible-to-ignore-huge-week-7-win

My biggest concern is the mile high air. If the team on defense is able to bring three or four sacks and a turn-over or two, I see a Dallas win

The plan on Sunday for Williams in his homecoming to Denver isn't one that's marked by a personal vendetta or an out-for-revenge attitude. It's about finding a way to help the Cowboys move to 4-3-1.

"I feel like it's just another championship opportunity," Williams said. "We treat every game the same. Great team, great defense, great offense. We've just got to go out and execute…"

"I'm just going to go out there and play my game, do what I've got to do, and try to make plays for my teammates."

I'm trying really hard to feel positive about this game and the season as a whole but a Denver win does seem most likely. That said, i thought we'd lose to Washington and we creamed them so who knows.

The defense showed signs of life? Against an offense missing all of their starting receivers?

If you say so..........

we are not beating Denver in Denver… have you guys forgotten we have absolutely no defense?

I won't say we can't win the game but it's gonna be really tough. If our offense sputters at all that could be the deciding factor because I don't trust our defense to really even compare to theirs. It's like Madden would say, "A great defense beats a great offense." The game has changed quite a bit but I feel like that old adage still applies, though maybe not absolutely. I see a shootout and we fall short by one score. Denver 38, Dallas 34.

This team has very little chance to win this game, and the thing that sucks is the media hype train is in full effect for this game so if the cowboys lose or worse get blown out, the mediots are going to destroy us on monday.

This is going to be a huge challenge. My worry is, all the talk is how good the Cowboy offense is, but nobody is saying how dominate Denver's defense is. They will come to play with a chip on their shoulder this week to prove to the world that they are the best defense in the NFL!

He said so.....wonder if the other teams fan were as negative as you when we played without 4 starting OL???? Naaaaa, no one walks with a negative stick up their @shabazz like you do. At least you're number one at something. Congratulations

I’m not saying the Cowboys are some dominant team, but the Broncos are not winning tomorrow. They’re a “house of cards”.

They get kudos for beating the Eagles. Tip of the hat. Now, reality, they’re getting good, not all that good right now.

We didn't fight our back through anything. The East is doing it's typical loser gimmick...keeping us in it.
