The way that I see the Lions game

Most of that was Jimmy. But I don't doubt Jerry's contributions when he stayed in a owner's lane and took care of the business side of operations. When he decided he was a great football mind and got more involved on the football side of operations it was all over.

Yet his narcissm and stupidity is supported annually by a steady income stream from fans who only empower his ignorance.
Keep thinking that is the fans and powering him lol that’s the ignorance.

Just so you know, I’m not a big fan of Jerry. But Jerry deserves credit when it’s due. And he has the rings to prove it. it was a partnership. Jerry would not have done without Jimmy and vice versa. You cannot give credit to one and not the other. Jimmy talked Jerry into things, and Jerry talked Jimmy into things.
Again we are talking about the last 28 years post Jimmy era.

You don’t think you’re supporting him every time you post on the site. Where is the ignorance?

I don’t pick and choose the error, to complain about he’s the owner. There’s three rings involved. But you can nitpick it’s OK. Whatever makes you happy.

If Byron Jones got deep enough on Aaron Rodgers, who knows what would’ve happened. If Des Bryant caught the ball, who knows what would’ve happened. Oh that’s Jerry’s fault.

"Assured means something is certain, made sure, or guaranteed. It can also mean to be very confident or self-assured."

Translation Dallas hold this L.
Translation is your guaranteeing a Lions win on Sunday. I’m not feeling real good about the Cowboys chances, but a Lions win is far from assured. The win over the Steelers on Sunday night should provide a little momentum and confidence heading into this game.

Does this site revenue share with the Cowboys? Does it have direct purchase links to the online store?
Neither does buying paraphernalia that’s my point. You can’t have it one way and not the other. Every time you mention his name, he makes money. That’s what you’re saying basically

Per your question about the game, This has to be a Dak and the offense game. We're going to need 30 or better . Defense banged up . Let's go Dak. Offense doesn't show it's going to get ugly fast.

I think it’s going to be a very interesting game, Lions coming off of my week could be a little disadvantage in the first half. Cowboys coming over and exciting win against Pittsburgh. They could follow through with that. I can’t wait for the game Cowboys at the end by 3

I think bland is coming back

Bland is back but we lost Kendricks the backup LB from the Vikes-Parson and of course Tank. Offense or bust...I just hope the defense can keep us in shouting range. 30 point's should do it if Dak and the rest show up.

The Cowboys come back home and play the Lions who are one of the league's best teams. The Lions are coming off their bye week and the Cowboys are coming off a last second win on the road against the Steelers. Jarred Goff is coming off of one of the greatest qb performances in the history of the league and his jersey from the Seahawks game is already in the Hall of Fame, on top of that the Lions will be extremely motivated after last year's game when the Lions we denied a two-point conversion because of a controversial penalty. The Cowboys have been hit badly by the injury bug and their top four D-ends are out, however, there is some good news, DeRond Bland will be back so that will slow down the Lions' receivers. So how do I see this game playing out? The Cowboys haven't played well at home the last three games and I'm not confident that they can win this one either so at the end of the day I like the Lions in a close one.

Lions 27
Cowboys 24
I would venture to say, our defense is decimated. better offenses have given us fits. Lions can run the ball. its another 200+ rushing day for lions. our offense can't run. and it comes down to passing, which even at 70% completion rate, still 30% misses and that's enough to cause us passing game issues.

Lions are going to lead 27-13 at the end of 3rd and end up 34-20, with cowboys scoring late TD to make the game closer than it looks.

Might be getting my posters mixed up. But I believe this is the same fan who said that the Lions would just view and treat their game against the Cowboys as a "bye week." And the Lions haven't done anything this season to be confident enough to overlook an opponent like that. Even if on paper they look to have the advantage over the Cowboys.

Also imagine how this forum would react if the Cowboys lost to an "inferior opponent" and it came out afterwards that they treated that opponent like a "bye", just because on paper they were told how much better they were than the other team or because they heard all of the press clippings about how they would "easily beat" the other team.

No one overlooks the Cowboys no matter how they’re playing and no team treats any game like a bye, especially this early in the season. There’s a lot riding on these games with divisions up for grabs and seedings at the end of the season. The Cowboys and Lions will be competing for seedings and the winner of this game will have an advantage. Detroit probably still feels a little burned after what happened in last years game. The Lions appear to be on a mission after having a trip to the Super Bowl swept right out from under them against San Francisco in the title game. You can bet they’ll be ready to play on Sunday. The Cowboys are certainly no pushover they’re 3-2 and just beat a good Steelers team on the road.
