spread the field, they are deep at DB, that's their strength....but we are deep at WR, we need to go 3 WR almost all the game and utilize pollard out of the back field and get him matched up against their LBs who are not as good. This is a game Jarwin can make a few big plays in the middle in spread formations.....spreading the field also helps create running zones for Zeke against this front 7, who can also be an outlet for Dak and gain some good yards, against this front 7. they maybe the top defense, but giving up almost 100 yards a game rushing and 4.6 ypc, and that's with them committing to stop the run given their DBs and pass defense. .

on defense, we have to focus, game plan to stop Edelman. blanket him, get lewis on him and blanket him underneath with the LBs and Xavier Woods for his crossing patterns..... Sonny Mitchel is good, but not that good to carry the team. they are averaging 91 yards rushing per game....take Edelman out and frustrate Brady...

they really haven't played anybody, its just that they are able to pull out close games (coaching)…..Ravens spanked them. they barely beat buffalo and philly…..

this is a very winnable game, even on the road.

The best way to defeat the Patriots:

  1. Score more points than them.
  2. Punish Brady (sacks)
  3. Take away Edelman
  4. Create turnovers
  5. relentless QB pressures and hits
  6. Wrap up on tackles
  7. Cooper, Gallup and Cobb have to catch the ball, (no drops)
  8. Zeke has to dominate
  9. incorporate Jarwin & Witten
  10. Jeff "the Goat" Heath
Out-coach Belichick

Nice try.... but wrong!!

Same game plan as I suggested against Aaron Rodgers. Someone needs to borderline kill Brady.

We didn't have the dog against Packers now we do in,.......... Michael Bennett
You blitz Brady you'll lose by double digits

I think both teams will get an early educations. The Patriots will probably try to stop Zeke, like everyone else, and depend on their secondary to stop the passing game. I expect them to blitz Dak a lot. If the Cowboys receivers are as good as we think, they will beat the secondary a few times. Hopefully Cooper is feeling a bit better and can play full speed this week. Dak has to be ready for the blitzes. I definitely like the idea of Jarwin over the middle on some quick throws.

On offense, I think the Patriots will try to run the football in a balanced attack. Teams that mix. They will get rid of it quickly when they throw it because the Cowboys pass rush will get to Brady if he sits back there too long. I expect a lot of throw to TEs and RBs - and of course Edelman over the middle. LVE and Smith have to alert to those passes underneath.

I think Brady is starting to look his age a little. I think the colder it is Sunday, the older Brady will look.

Who said anything about Blitzing???

Brady is baddest dog on the field, like Aaron Rodgers.

We finally have a dog on the Dline with pedigree and nastyness to go after Brady in Michael Bennett.

This has nothing to do with Xs and Os.

Only way we win is if we have dominant performance like David Irving had against Packers.

We need Bennett to borderline kill Brady or be so disruptive it frees up DeMarcus, Collin and Quinn.

There is no scheme Brady hasn't seen...only pain will win us the game

Brady is the best in the league at stepping up in the pocket, but unfortunately our DT’s get no interior push. ......

Nice stuff here.

I would add that we need a big day from Lawrence. Marcus Cannon didn't play well against the Eagles on Sunday, and gave up the edge regularly. Lawrence should do well there, and we need him to.

I'd also add that the Brady dumpoff security blanket has to be well accounted for. Have a linebacker up close designated to cover James White or whatever pass catching back they have in there. Far too often, Brady does a quick scan and then dumps it off if he doesn't immediately like what he sees. That needs to be challenged as well.

Limit mistakes, turnovers, penalties, and drops.

Tell Bennett it was Tom who kept him off the field and unleash him...

Make certain to avoid careless penalties on both sides of the ball. :omg:

It's practically a given that the Pats will make sure to do much the same.

Air up the footballs to double pressure...

Lock some of their players in the locker-room...

Better yet, lock Belichick in the locker-room.
