If we can get a consensus top 5 I'll work on a top 10 list for each position as the season progresses

Mine:
1. DE
2. DT
3. RG
4. FS
5. RB

What is too early about it? Walter football already mocked the 2015 first round.

They will draft a QB, I can already feel it.

agree with this list
i am hoping that by the end of the year, FS and RB will be off that list becasue of who we already have on the team

then add

LG

Wouldn't have a problem with it as long as we are talking about 4th/5th round. This seems to be a pretty deep class for QB's depending on who comes out and who doesn't.

Don't forget WR - with Miles gone

QB I am liking Murray an Mettenberger today

DE, DT, WR, CB, OG are my top 5 needs at the moment, need to keep adding quality players and quality depth to the roster.

QB should occupy the top 3 spots on your list

Its not to early to tell that this team needs major help on the defensive side of the football. Especially D-Line and safety. But we could use a Linebacker too. Durant/Sims is not the answer. Bruce Carter is starting to cause some concerns as well.

On Offense we still need help at Guard. Waters and Leary can hold it down for this year, but we need a few anchors at guard to go along with Frederick. Miles could be gone, so a WR to go along with Dez and T. Williams would be nice.

Is Demarco the answer at RB? I'm a firm believer that RB's can be found anywhere in the draft, so I would not draft one in the 1st round. But I feel like a RB should be drafted every year in the middle rounds.

My needs go like this:

1a. Defensive Tackle
1b. Defensive End
2. Safety
3. Guard
4. LB

We need two DTs, DE, OG, LB

After Clowney I dont see any other great DE that would be worth a 1st right now.

DT class looks deep and that good because need two plus free agent help.

Also the OG class is pretty deep.

We also need a OLB for depth.

DT, DE, LB, S, G, RB, TE. Still not impressed with either TE's we've drafted. We need a younger Witten.

Escobar? Dude is going to be a phenomenal pass catcher if he ever gets used.

I think DE is going to be a greater need than DT, though we are weak at both spots. Hatcher is going to have to be resigned, and i would rather have Crawford inside.

Ware - Hatcher - Crawford - ??

If's just don't work for this team. He runs sloppy routes. I'll have to see a lot more to jump on the Phenom boat.

I didnt' say he was a phenom.

One of my biggest gripes with JG is that he does not put guys in positions to succeed. He's not a great route runner? Don't have him run complex routes. A guy with the skillset of Esco should be able to work into any offensive game plan. The guy has plenty of physical ability to be a top flite receiving TE in the league.

I wouldn't call any route a TE runs a complex route. The same was said about Marty B. Time will tell. I don't care for slow progression from TE's. You are right though, there has not been much to see because he's not been used much thus far. We could go all day on the Ginger. I'm on boat with you that he fails to utilize people to their strengths. I seem to remember Marion Barber being forced to run outside constantly. Absolutely stupid. He's too slow and his strength was power running.

I think the parallels between Marty and Esco are pretty evident. Both are great athletes and excellent pass catchers. Both are limited when it comes to fundamentals in one way or another. Both are the type of athletes who you can throw the ball to and just say "go get it."
