We need to run the ball 30+ time’s minimum…

And the way you do that is by passing on the first down more than usual .

We run on first down more than anyone - you flip the script Monday by mixing it up .

Pollard needs 20 Carries - Zeke 10 +

If Dak throws 45 times we lose

Yes! Dead on brother. But can KM stay committed to the run and can we give the lions share of carries to Pollard?

Kellen Moore and Jerry Jones are incapable of a run first approach . It will be Dak spraying prayers all over the field to un opened receivers , rinse and repeat over and over .
Dak has a pedestrian 91 QB rating this year . 88 is the mediocre league average but it doesn’t matter it’s Dak, Dak, Dak .

And quit running the damn ball smack dab right into the meat of the D will help! I feel like I’m watching an 80’s HS team lately with these running game play calls…..

The running plays yesterday were pretty vanilla overall.. I can't shake the feeling that was by design. Both to keep the good stuff off film from Tampa as well as trying to simplify things for the shuffled o-line. I think we got a snootful of why McGovern was moved to guard coming into the pros. He got destroyed yesterday. Now Washington's interior line is pretty good but he simply got pushed back into the backfield over and over. He took a similar beating against the Titans after Biadasz went down. if Biadasz can't come back for Monday night and restore some semblance of order to the line we're doomed against Tampa. Vea will eat McGovern for lunch and the youngster is not yet strong enough to battle a beast of that magnitude on the interior. He will get there.. but he aint there yet.

110% right, his chunk plays keeps the chains moving and makes their interior DL less of a factor.

I think if Dallas can score more points than TB, they got a good chance.

If Biadasz can’t get back we’re in trouble. Tyler is a better Tackle than Guard as well. And looking ahead, big if, Bosa will make Tyron look like a grade schooler. It’s going to be tough.

While both teams are different from Week 1 (when Pollard had 1.9 ypc), including the injury factors......you can't hide much of what you like to do or any tendencies......you can add new, but your "bread & butter" is out there already. Keep that in mind, and our OC will get away from the run in a NY second, TB declared they knew what we like to do......so it's up to unveiling the "Secret Sauce" again.

We’ll need the OL to improve its run blocking first.
Otherwise it will be 30 carries for 65 yards.

Tampa lost most of their games to teams with dominant running games(cincy, cleveland, 49ers, Steelers, Panthers, etc) TB ranks 15 against the run on the season.

Is Dallas a dominant running game team?
Stats say they are 9th in overall rushing 135 per game.
Last 3 games they are avg 88.7 a game.

88 yards on the ground is not enough to beat Tampa.
IMO Dallas has to get that magic number to win.
100 yards on the ground minimum or its another guaranteed first round exit.

Oh I get it! That's why they paid Dak 10 billion dollars.
Have to get 100 on the ground to win?!? Wait what?

Tampa has 16 other games of film including 2 games with us in the past year….we couldn’t run because we haven’t been able to run since Steele has been out. It’s not because we played “vanilla”

I feel like this is what we have been doing for a few weeks. I hope Monday night proves that to be correct.

Pollard is not only the key to winning next week but he's the key to the entire playoffs so get him the ball as much as possible.

Does anyone in here actually believe KM will come up with a run first scheme to beat the Bucs?

Moore aint comin up with a "run first" anything. That is absolutely not how that dude wants to run the offense. He will run a few plays up the middle and allow it to get stuffed and that will be all the excuse he needs to go full Mountain West offense. I don't know exactly what to make of it. Except it makes my really uneasy about next week.

OL needs to play better but he needs more touches. I bet you if had 30 carries at least five of those carries would be 20yd + runs.
