The way we beat TB is turning Pollard loose

Pollard is not only the key to winning next week but he's the key to the entire playoffs so get him the ball as much as possible.

Yeah they need to scheme up ways to get him in space. Their inside backers can really run and tackle and their front keeps them clean for the most part so you're not going to have a lot of success between the tackles against them. We have GOT to get Pollard the ball in space either as a receiver or on tosses and our receivers and tight ends need to hold their blocks for more than a damn nanosecond.

OL needs to play better but he needs more touches. I bet you if had 30 carries at least five of those carries would be 20yd + runs.
Come on man.. When was the last time any back had 5 20+ yard runs in a game? That's not how the NFL works.. If you get two or three you're happy.. because eventually teams will clamp down on you if you keep hurting them with something. If we get Pollard to the edge 2-3 times early on they will overplay him outside and force him back to the middle where their tackling machine backers roam.

I was going to say something negative, but we need to emit positive energy right now. Go Cowboys! (Seriously)

We need to run the ball 30+ time’s minimum…

And the way you do that is by passing on the first down more than usual .

We run on first down more than anyone - you flip the script Monday by mixing it up .

Pollard needs 20 Carries - Zeke 10 +

If Dak throws 45 times we lose
You did watch the Washington game right? It's not the RB's that have a problem.

Yup. Best weapon on offense and only Lambs play over the past month or so makes it particularly close.

I’m actually glad they gave him some, but limited carries after missing Tenn.

Watching Elliott try to bounce runs outside is embarrassing. I’m embarrassed FOR him honestly.

I like this plan but here is the rub. Yesterday concerned me because even when Dak had plenty of time on playaction we weren’t getting it done. Throws were off but overall my concern is we have a WR Corp that can’t get open. CeeDee is fine but Gallup is one big disappointment, Schultz has been covered in seems and Brown isn’t separating. So sure let’s run first…like it..but if that’s being stuffed I’m not sure where we go.

Well you started off good....then ruined your case with two stupid points.

30 carries? You trying to hurt him? And 5 will be 20+?

Nuts.

Agree. Get the TE's more involved in the blocking and short passing game also.

Tampa will pressure Dak and will tackle our RBs, they are an agressive defense and the offense can be explosive with those wideouts.

Our best bet is to keep the old guy on the bench and stack long drives for 6, no FGs, IOW play some Cowboys football!

get a dominate performance by the OL first and foremost...and then they can do whatever they want with whomever they want. Simple.

With what? So called future Hall of Famers who can't open a can of pop? Much less a hole for someone to run through.

If we try to run 30 times we lose. Unless we get a big lead first. Tampa is too good at stopping the run. Love the more Pollard idea, but it needs to be in the passing game and run game. Zeke should take seat save short yardage and GL. But we all know he will be featured by Moore.

Only way to beat Tampa is attacking their secondary and throwing the ball.

Moore aint comin up with a "run first" anything. That is absolutely not how that dude wants to run the offense. He will run a few plays up the middle and allow it to get stuffed and that will be all the excuse he needs to go full Mountain West offense. I don't know exactly what to make of it. Except it makes my really uneasy about next week.
LOL..........allow it to get stuffed? You mean Zeke will get stuffed. So its Moore's fault that you hero Zeke gets stuffed?

If you know that we will get stuffed, then what is the point of running the ball? Why not have a game plan to pass?
