Pretty sure Thornton's injury was a knee.
I liked what I saw of him in limited action. Great pass rushing burst. Probably a better pure pass rusher than ALS from the LB position.

He actually looked a LOT like D Ware while he was out there. He was a guy I was trying to watch closely. Once he read the play, he was a laser beam to the guy with the ball, including the QB. I was really excited by his play in preseason. I think he's going to be the surprise LB for us next season.

And not "probably" a better pass rusher than ALS, "IS" a better passrusher than ALS.
