In the short term, we would be better against the run with a DL of say Ellis/Spears/Ratliff/Ware with Spencer/Thomas/Carp at LB but:

1. It is too hard to change in the middle of the year

2. Ware is our best player and his best position is OLB in a 3-4.

The best long-term solution is to find a proper NT and move Ratliff to DE and move Ellis to pure nicel DE.

In all fairness we really don't know this is the coach. He took mostly Parcells players and went 13-4 with a round one playoff loss. Parcells did not win more than 10 games although I suspect he would have done as well last year. He won no playoff games.

At some point one has to point a finger on the true responsible persons. They are the players who actually do and don't make plays.

I am now on the fence when it comes to the coaches and that includes Campo, Houck, Wade and Jason. I see holes in there that are coaching problems. But they only need look in a mirror tonite to find the main guilty parties. It's the players.

I can tell you I never ever quit in a game. I don't ever remember being out of a game but we did have losses and played from behind. You just never quit. It's individual battles as well as team battles.

They better be glad I'm not the coach.

BTW, it's not the final score that upsets me the most.

Who do you think the weakest link is?

In my opinion, the weakest link in this franchise is Wade Phillips.

I am far from an expert on football, it's obvious to me that Phillips needs to go.
