Curses...foiled again :D

My wife's awesome. She got me a helmet signed by the entire 2004 OU Sooner team. Very sweet!

Oversized stuffed Homer Simpson slippers from my brother-in-law.

Arrested Development and Curb your Enthusiasm on DVD... Return of the King too.

Wow...I am not a sooners fan but that would be sweet for any fan who got a helmet like that from their favorite college team.

Congrats.

Now...start talking guitars or you will get booted off this thread. ;) :p

I got one of my kids a toy ukelele, does that count? :D

I asked for a Henson jersey after the Baltimore game... luckily my wife was football-savvy enough to hold off on that impulse purchase!

Does the ukelele plug into an amplifier?

If not, no it doesn't count.

:)

I got the Henson jersey that you didn't...the retro version...quite lovely...I was going to put it on today but I don't think it gives me the "best chance" to succeed at work...so I'm wearing a Testaverde jersey instead.

[/sarcasm off]

A new air compressor and a couple of new nailers... tech gadgets... some clothes... and most importantly... time with my friends and loved ones...

Oh... and a Cowboys victory... ;)

I didn't know all those Sooners knew how to write.... :p

Most of them just signed with "Xs" :D

Seriously, though, it's a pretty sweet collectable... and it'll be even sweeter once they're the National Champions in a couple of weeks!

I'm with TB... best "gift" I received was the unhurried time to spend with a house-full of friends and families, and the plentiful bounty of food, fun and fellowship to appreciate it.

And oh yea, the miserable look on the faces of the Commanders fans that spent their hard-earned cash to travel down here in the holiday rush, as they left Texas Stadium on 12/26, was pretty sweet too!!

:p
