You know the first time I saw them, they were ok I guess, new, novel and a bit different from the original I am used too. But after yesterday and seeing them in person. I dont like them. Not one little bit. The star looks too small on the helmet and the white loses something that the silver Helmets have. Its like asking for something really meakly as opposed to demanding it with authority. It makes us look wimpy I think.

Whats ya'lls take on these white helmets. Personally, I know they are historic and our roots and all, but I hate em and never want to see them again except in a museum. Never again on the field.

They were part of the uniform that I fell in love with the first time I saw the Cowboys play so they have a special place in my heart. That said, I still prefer the silver helmets.

I was more concerned about playing in our blue jerseys instead of the white ones. I love the white throwbacks much better than the blues and we seem to lose more often in the blues too.

I like the silver but I'm not opposed to the white a couple times a year...

I think they are classy as heck. I wouldn't want to go back to them fulltime, but I like the throwback change of pace look.

Both home losses have come in the throwback uniforms...the helmets and uniforms should be buried in a time capsule.

I'm not superstitious. Both home losses were on National TV too. Should we never play on National TV when at home?

Good catch! No, I would like for us to continue to play on National TV. It has been a long time since I played football (high school), but we changed uniforms my junior year and it took our team some time to adjust. The QB had to concentrate a fraction of a second longer on passing plays early in the season because he was used to the old uniforms. A few games into it, he was adjusted.

With this in mind, I just don't feel that it is smart to revert to a uniform change for a couple of games a season. It requires just a bit more concentration on the part of the team and the QB.

Neither am I, but since we lose in those uniforms, why wear them? The team will associate those uni's with losing and have a negative mindset before the game even starts. Kind of a Palovian response.

Besides, they are jinxed and have no Mojo in them! :D

I can see that, if the boys were wearingthem in 72-73 when I came aboard, I am sure I would regard them as I regard the Silver Helmet and the traditional whites, to me, nothing is more prettier or sacred. I suppose for 1 game a year, I can live with them, but it seems more like a division III school or high school helmet then a pro teams Helmet.

Those are my favorite uniforms, I really like em. I dont think its the uniforms that held them to 2.7 ypc or made Billy boy miss a 34 yard chip shot that probably would of won the game.

I don't believe jerseys have mojo or juju or yoyos. They're just fabric.

Weak minded players who think a jersey makes them miss tackles or run slower need to take up horticulture.

The uniforms are nice, but if they compared them to the Denver uniforms they may have noted the strong similarity. Why are both teams wearing blue and white with white pants? Watching on TV on the 2nd interception, I thought it was a completion at first. Everyone looked the same to me.

Cowboys+ just reported that when questioned about missing that 34 yd fg attempt, Cundiff stated that for no apparent reason, his eyes suddenly got fixated on the blue star of Romo's helmet and was the reason why he got out of rhythm on his approach.

And now we know... ;)

What I would like is to see us in the dark blues at least once this year. Have we ever gone through a season without wearing them? (I am correct that we haven't worn them this year, am I not? The memory is starting to fade a bit...)

My vote:
Make the throwbacks our all time uniforms.
I love em.
They are very classy and stylish and don't look like any other teams.
Our current (and putrid) white unis look too much like the Colts and Lions and dont match.
I love the throwbacks and those who disagree only disagree because they fear change (IMO).

No way!

Our current home uniforms are timeless. Just like the Yankee pinstripes.

Fear change? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I don't want to be like the Falcons who change their uniforms every other year.

I like 'em. If we changed to them full-time, they'd still look like the Cowboys to me.

Unlike the drastic changes that the Bills, Bengals went through.

I love the white helmets, the whole uni infact, down to the stripes on the socks
