That because another team had success against a team we're getting to play, means that we'll somehow have the same success. I think this is a bad way of thinking. We must see our team play in the actual game and wait until the game is over to then say how we feel.

You hear it all the time, oh this team doesn't stop the pass, the previous team passed all day on them. Only for us to come out and struggle, due to their secondary having success against us, our OL not blocking, drops, and poor throws.

Give your thoughts, is this a good way of thinking???? Let's take it one game at a time!!

Also if a team gets beat on the pass in one game they will work on that in practice all week. We are supposedly weak on the run so we will work on it all week. I just don’t want to lose our pass protection. I want picks this weekend..

They think we can’t run so they may work harder on pass so if our O-Line comes out and plays tough and we run some off tackle we my surprise them..

That's nerves talking.

There's a lot of people that have talked certain players up this year and now it's put up or shut up time. They are looking for anything to take comfort in because they do not like the prospect that all the insults, rudeness, and down right hateful attitudes they've show others might all have been in vain.

I think SF may have a bit of momentum but so do we.

It's an interesting matchup and will probably be one of the better games of the weekend.

I like us to win but it always comes down to a few plays that we are talking about years and years later.

Gotta make em, and breaks do not hurt either.

Hard to evaluate an inner divisional game. Teams know each other so well. Those games don't carry over to other opponents. Perhaps that's why DAL is getting so much criticism outside the NFCE 6-5.

yes, rhetoric and hyperbole without facts make many wasted hours of debates.

Teams that can rush four get pressure and stop the run, while dropping seven, can beat any team.
and yet they lost 7 games and 9ers during Shannahans regime is barely above .500.. so throw stats out, it isnt part of this game.

I think if our guys go out and play to their ability Dallas will kick the hell out of SF. SF has a good defense and pretty much a ball control offense, they are not much of a high scoring offense. People want to knock Dallas and act as if this Cowboys team is poor be my guest. Get right down to it I think people are underestimating Dallas. SF is a 10-7 team who at times has looked like crap but we are to roll over and act as if they are all world? NO Use the same critical microscope on SF as you would Dallas

Take this kinda talk for what it is mostly, just a way to generate interest in the game. If the former players talking about this were completely honest, they'd tell you to throw it all out the window. None of it matters come game time.

That may be a good barometer on paper, but with injuries, protocols and the passage of time, in general, it doesn't mean a whole lot....any team in the playoffs has the ability to get hot and win it all

I guess the title of this thread was truncated on my phone. I was expecting something much different.

The only momentum capturing my attention right now is Dallas scoring 11 straight times in the Red Zone!

That's terrible thinking!! Focus on both, is there not enough time before the game to do all of this

Ok so ball controlled offense, what if they keep it really long on offense and we barely get the ball

That means are defense failed. What if Defense stops them on 3rd down? Cowboys defense is 2nd in the NFL in 3rd down defense allowing 34% conversions. I'm not trying to take away from SF being in playoffs, they earned it. So did Dallas and over the course of a season Dallas has ranked high in several major catagories from take aways to 3rd down stops. Give Dallas their credit.
