It was so much, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. But he didn't.

The other guy seemed to force criticism on the 'boys. His only argument was basically that no matter how well they play, he won't care what the 'boys do until December.

I imagine if the 'boys could skip to December and play their December schedule and then go back to their regular schedule, they would. Maybe that would make folks happy and they can stop talking about it.

Actually not surprising out of Skip. He's really not the Cowboy hater that everyone makes him out to be (I've even done it myself a few times) but he's very vocal about anyone on the team that he absolutely hates. The last few years we've had TO and that grates at him. He hates TO and that hate for TO is more important than anything else he'll comment on when it comes to Dallas. With guys like TO and Pacman gone this year you'll likely see him heaping a little more praise on Dallas than you're used to.

We could very well go 2-3 down the stretch...so we better stack our wins now. And it is no different than last year...we were 8-4....and played some very difficlut games in December. We did not tank in December....we played teams that simply were better than us. We lost to Pittsburgh and Baltimore...last time I checked those teams were in the AFC championship game last year. We played Philly...they were in the NFC championship game. We played the Giants and won...and again, they won the division. And by the way, other than the Eagle game....we were in every game. Despite being banged up, and lacking lockeroom chemistry. So I don't buy that we cannnot win in December....it is just the fact that our schedule is once again backloaded with teams that at the end of the day were BETTER than us.

Skip's whole agenda has been pro Cowboys, with the exception of Martellus Bennett, since the Cowboys got rid of TO. So it isn't too surprising that he'd take this position. It's not that he's in love with the Cowboys or anything, he just wants to discredit TO. Individual players are more of his agenda than teams. TO is right up there with LeBron James as a player he will stop at nothing to disparage. The Cowboys doing well without TO would be the ultimate I told you so to all of the TO supporters in his view because so many have proclaimed that Tony Romo was created by TO and further that the Cowboys only became a good team because they signed TO.

I think the teams that were better were only so because they are better coached. I wouldn't trade rosters with any of those teams. Pitt and Baltimore have more talent on defense than we do, but on offense, I don't think it's even close. I think we have more than Philly on both sides of the ball.

I think we overrate our talent...as most teams do. Our defense got punished by a rookie QB in Flacco. Terrance Neman gives up a 35 yarder to Santonio Holmes on 3rd and 13 last year. I point to these as examples of how many of us say we would not trade rosters...but when our supposed "best and brightest" give up big plays, maybe they are not as good as we think they are.

The Bucs do not have ONE WR that can run by our secondary...yet there they were behind our BEST and FASTEST CB at the end of the first half. And Also behind Jenkins on a play that was overthrown. I mean how does that happen at the end of halfs. We do that crap in a playoff game...and we lose...all we will continue to hear is the fact that Romo can't win a big game. This defense needs to play like the score is 0-0.

First of all I will say hate is the wrong word. I don't think he hates anyone he bags on. I will say that he pushes inflammatory criticism to its limits and always has. Once he is on something he never gets off it.

Rumor is that Troy ignored Skippy at a christmas party.

After that Skippy started badmouthing Aikman relentlessly.

Mark Tuinei cornered Skippy on a flight home and scared the crap out of him.

Skippy left the Cowboys organization (or was fired) and made a career out of badmouthing everything Cowboys.
