It dawned on me Sunday for the first time when in the first quarter the Giants were ready to go for it on a 4th and 1 from their own 40 yard line.

We really are THAT good. People are now coming in with a desperate mindset. It was a flash back to the 90's and it felt fantastic.

Actually the fact the giants imploded on that attempt instead our defense jumping offsides made me feel like that this team is enthusiastic and smart.

i wanted to go for it on the 4th down too, but i see the logic inpunting and pinning a struggling offense deep.

Yea, I guess what was striking for me was

(a) 1st quarter!
(b) Your own side of the field!
(c) I really believe that they knew they couldn't stop our offense all day long, so they were ready to take more chances

Great point: teams do not want our offense to get the ball. Was a great feeling to see a team like the Giants so desperate, so early

They are good and most people unfamiliar with the Cowboys don't realize we still have major injuries on defense, particularly Lawrence.

I am usually quite content not to attend Thanksgiving Day games. I like eating my feast, laying on the couch and watching our boys. But with the Beagles coming in this year, I've thought about it. I think the stadium is going to be ROCKING.
