that's one chick that hasn't done anything but get hotter with age

you should catch "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead", they got her topless in 2 scenes

Get The Wrestler...she's topless forever.
By the way....awesome movie.
Rourke got robbed on Oscar night.

Haven't seen it yet - looking forward to it though.

Another movie I wasn't overly impressed with. The performances were good, and Tomei was lovely, but the movie overall was kinda 'meh' to me.

Jebus, what do you like? Night at the Museum?

The Wrester is fantastic.

I'll grant the performances were excellent, but you'll have to excuse me if I'm not enthralled by the world of wrestling even if it's about the darker side of what goes on. And as good as the performances were, the only character I could muster up any feeling for at all was the daughter, and that was minimal at best. The characters just weren't very likeable at all.

And anyone that takes their kids to see Night at the Museum (Lord, why is there a sequel?) needs to be looked at for possible child abuse.

I don't like wrestling either. But that has nothing to do with whether it was a good movie.

Oddly enough, I thought the daughter was the weakest part of the show.

I didn't say she was a strong part of the movie, just that she was the only character I could really be empathetic towards, and even that was at a minimal level.

CP

You never like any movie. :p: You are like a grumpy old critic. :)

Critics hate all movies. I loved The Wrestler. It was great.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to be a pro wrestler. It wreaks havoc on your body and you're on the road 75-85% of the time. Most don't live past 40 for one reason or another. And the fans are almost as bad as in Philly.

I agree with this sentiment. Very good acting, the movie itself-------- eh.

I give it 2 beers.

2 beers wouldn't last you through the opening credits :laugh2:
