The X factor?

Woods is not physically in the same universe as Earl Thomas. Thomas ran a 4.37 at his pro day.
Xavier Woods was 4.54 at the combine. Even discounting the pro day numbers a little, that's a huge difference.

Earl Thomas is far removed from his pro day in both age and injury.

The comparison isn't 2019 Woods vs 2013 Thomas, since 2013 ET wasn't a free agent. I don't know of anyone who would question how great ET was then.

It's 2019 Woods vs 2019 ET, their production and their price tag. We'll see.

Sorry but Xavier Woods is not even in the same conversation as Earl Thomas. Woods also flaws and is much slower while having a smaller body. He has made some plays but has also been beat.
Psssst..... Earl is 5-10

That's all fair enough about Earl, but Earl getting slower doesn't make Woods any faster.

I wasn't for signing Earl, and particularly not for giving up a 2, or a 1(!) for him. But that's not because I think Woods will be great. I just don't like the the risk/reward on Thomas.

Woods has a low ceiling. I don't see a 2nd contract. We'll keep shopping.

Jackson seems like a possible S conversion.

Firstly. The article mentioned both Woods and Earl. So is not like I pulled Woods and Earl out of a hat myself. Secondly. I said Woods is not equal to Earl. Thirdly. You got Earl's size wrong. Fourthly. You really think Earl has never ever ever been beat. Never? I know you didnt mean it like that.

Wood is in his third year, a one year starter, he's young and still has room to grow. Only time will tell if he's our long time solution at FS. I've liked what I've seen so far, for a young guy, but he'll never be Earl.

I love X's hard hits though.

I believe Richard is trying to turn Woods into another Earl Thomas, but Woods is not as fast.

Broke leg he's been awarded ,,,er,courtesy of the N.F.L.,,, when his wad's up& he once again does the crash-n-burn midway thru this 2019 season,,, y'all ought to chip- in & bestow upon him a TEXAS SIZED sterling SILVER PLATED pewter cast belt buckle w/NFL emblazoned across it somewhere,,, er,,,cuz he's NOT FER' LONG in even being deemed revelant in footballish chatter,,, soon enougho_O

Not sticking up for X but ET was never beat?

LOL.....proof?
Proof is that he’s gotten better with time. His third year is next. Wait and see. Of course I’m stepping out on a limb, but that’s what fans do. Time to let it play out.
