Forked over the fee so I could incorporate trades and here's the outcome. Initially traded #4 to TB for #9 and their 2nd and they took Ramsey. I knew I'd have to jump Philly for Zeke so I ponied up some picks and made a trade with San Francisco. Hackenburg was still on the board in round 5 so I took all the tradeable picks I had left and made a move up with Tennessee to the top of the round.

I was barely going to say how'd you jump Philly at 9 lol if he gets to 8 it sucks but he will be picked.

Me too. That's a pretty good draft. I know people are down on the Hackman, but he's the perfect candidate to sit behind Romo a few years. He needs time on the bench learning the game and hopefully regaining his confidence.

Is Karl Joseph really a possibility in the 3rd?

I don't think he's going to workout at WVU's pro day so I'd say that may knock him down a bit, think he goes somewhere in the top 75 picks.

I wish there just a Fanspeak mock thread.
One thread, that's it.
Kind of like make believe land. Fun, but preposterously unrealistic

A dream draft to be sure. When we see these fanspeak hauls for several months, draft day is a letdown. There should be a fanspeak rule that no player we have discussed on the board will be taken past midway in the third round. That seems to be the pattern lately.

People are assuming Philly is going to take Elliott.

I think that might be a false assumption.

I agree. Hes no doubt in play for philly, but that team has more holes than we do right now. Rb, qb,wr, cb, lb,o line all in play for them I would guess.

Plus, if you know the dynamics of the club it would seem unlikely as well.

For one, their old/new GM, Howie Roseman apparently thinks like the Cowboys in that they don't want to sink a ton of money into a TB. It was said he was totally against signing Murray but Chip had the power and made the deal. Roseman then structured the deal as best he could giving the Eagles as little pain if they had to move on as possible. He's also big on the OL and DL and adding those pieces early.

Additionally, all the chatter in Philly has been that Pederson is an extension of Reid and they have similar thought processes on building a team. And Reid was also big on drafting for the lines early in the draft. So IMO, I think it's as likely the Eagles could go, say, Ronnie Stanley, at 8 as opposed to Elliott.

Nice draft, I would take that.
I do have one change though, take one of the 6th round comp picks and use it for FB Vitale.
