1. Louis Nix III, DT, Notre Dame
Always moving forward, activate hands and has a very nice motor - especially for his size.
2. Lamarcus Joyner, FS, Florida State
A big key to the Tampa D is a FS that can cover sideline to sideline. Joyner has great versatility (can play nickel corner and special teams) and plays with a chip.
3. Anthony Steen, OG, Alabama
Comes from a great program obviously but plays smart and has the feet you want in the ZBS we now employ. I'm thinking LG here to replace Leary, who was the worst of the bunch this year.
4. Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia
Would be going higher if not to an ACL tear. His rehab keeps the heat off Romo and he gets time to learn.
5. Taylor Hart, DT/DE, Oregon
Versatile (can play DT, DE and stands up as a rushing OLB), large (6'6" 290) but raw. Very productive in terms of making tackles and plays the run well, but needs technique work.
7a. Bryce Quigley, OT, San Diego State
OT Depth. Played LT but may be a better fit at RT.
7b. Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson
Great size and speed but very raw. Averaged 20 yards per reception in 2013... which was down from the 30 per reception he averged in 2012.
7c. Xavius Boyd, OLB, Western Kentucky
Stepped in to replace Andrew Jackson (suspended) and did a spectacular job playing pretty mediocre competition. Looking more at special teams initially, as I think we address LB depth with affordable FA's.
