1. Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
As sure a thing as there is in the NFL Draft.

2. Cleveland Browns (via St. Louis Rams) - Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
My only assumed trade. They have the ammo and the need.

3. Minnesota Vikings - Matt Kalil, OT, USC
Gotta protect Ponder, they invested a lot in the kid.

4. St Louis Rams (via Cleveland Browns) - Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
They must be jealous of Stafford and Johnson in Detroit.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
One aging corner and one that can't stay out of trouble.

6. Washington Commanders - Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
Bit of a reach, but QB is the only position that makes sense this high.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars - Quinton Coples, DE, UNC
They love defensive linemen and Blackmon/Claiborne are out of play.

8. Miami Dolphins - Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
They started Marc Colombo. That should give you a clue as to their desperation.

9. Carolina Panthers - Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
I don't get the Brockers hype, but everyone seems to love him.

10. Buffalo Bills - Melvin Ingram, DE/OLB, South Carolina
They are switching to a 4-3 with some 3-4 sets, Ingram fits both schemes.

11 Kansas City Chiefs - Riley Reiff, OT/OG, Iowa
They need a RT badly, Barry Richardson is terrible.

12. Seattle Seahawks - Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
They love Lynch's physical style but he's an aging FA at an expendable position.

13. Arizona Cardinals - Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College
Kuechly silenced all doubts about his athleticism at the combine. A safe pick.

14. Dallas Cowboys - David DeCastro, OG, Stanford
Jerry promised to take care of Romo, he keeps his promise.

15. Philadelphia Eagles - Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
I don't think they plan to keep Jackson long term, and Kuechly is off the board.

16. New York Jets - Mark Barron, SS, Alabama
Jim Leonard is a FA and can't stay healthy, Barron is better than most around here think.

17. Cincinnati Bengals (via Oakland Raiders) - Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
Bengals couldn't care less about his off-field issues.

18. San Diego Chargers - Cordy Glenn, OG/RT, Georgia
They have a need at both RT and OG, Glenn can play either and had a great combine.

19. Chicago Bears - Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Amazingly enough, Roy Williams didn't work out. Shocker.

20. Tennessee Titans - Dre' Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
They could use some offensive line help, but they've got 5 FA's in the secondary.

21. Cincinnati Bengals - David Wilson, RB, Virginia Tech
Cedric Benson is a FA and Wilson had a heck of a combine.

22. St Louis Rams (via Cleveland Browns via Atlanta Falcons) - Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
Saffold had a good rookie year but regressed as a junior. They draft the lazy Mike Adams.

23. Detroit Lions - Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska
Remember the Lions were favorites to pick Amukamara last year, but they couldn't pass on Fairley.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers - Dont'a Hightower, ILB, Alabama
Their LB's are getting up there in terms of age.

25. Denver Broncos - Devon Still, DT, Penn State
They need a DT, could be Poe here but Still has faced better competition.

26. Houston Texans - Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
They have Andre, so Hill will have time to transition.

27. New England Patriots (via New Orleans Saints) - Whitney Mercilus, OLB, Illinois
Patriots finally land that rusher they've been searching for.

28. Green Bay Packers - Fletcher Cox, DE, Mississippi State
Clay Matthews is all they have in terms of a pass rusher, and it showed last year.

29. Baltimore Ravens - Rueben Randle, WR, LSU
Boldin is getting up there, Evans was invisible most of the year and Smith is still learning.

30. San Francisco 49ers - Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina
If they resign Carlos Rodgers, they'll look elsewhere, but he probably wants that last big contract.

31. New England Patriots - Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
The Pats land the athletic and versatile Poe, they aren't afraid to coach him up.

32. New York Giants - Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford
Chase Blackburn played pretty well at ILB so they upgrade the TE position.

Very nicely done.

I was reading on KFFL that the Giants aren't intending on bringing back Blackburn. I actually thought he played pretty well for them. But TE makes sense regardless, imo.

Also, with Poe, I wonder if he lasts until end of the 1st round (esp given all the hype, etc.)

I like it. Very realistic. I think Carolina could go for Riley Reiff, though.

lol, no one's spotted the glaring player missing from the first round.

I think the Lions could probably take Upshaw over Dennard, especially if they don't resign Avril, not sure how I missed him. Or Perhaps to the Jets.

Good mock. I doubt Poe will go nearly that low or Wilson nearly that high but otherwise looks very realistic.

Damn, that would be a huge line in New England.

Wilfork and Poe.

Pundits are saying there will be a rush on D Linemen early. Poe, Cox and Still will all go much higher than you have them. DeCastro and Brockers will both be there at 14 and Jerry will disapoint us all and take Brockers because of the run on D Linemen. Cowboys are supposedly enamored with his 35 inch arm length, I am not enamored with his short area work out.

Brockers was clocked at an alarmingly slow 5.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash. This time was the third worst among the 49 defensive linemen tested in Indianapolis this year. The only two defensive linemen with a time more than a hundredth of a second slower than Brockers were Missouri's Dominique Hamilton and Southern Cal's Christian Tupou. As a point of comparison, Brockers is currently rated as NFLDraftScout.com's No. 8 rated prospect overall. Hamilton and Tupou are rated 360th and 378th, respectively.

Think the 40-yard dash time is an anomoly? Think again. Brockers finished among the worst in defensive linemen tested in the vertical jump (26.5"), broad jump (105") and short shuttle (4.81), as well.

The guy who will drop like a stone and shouldnt will be Richardson because of the position he plays.

this is a very sensible projection in terms of realism, but i shake my head at a guard in the first round, it just isn't done, but who knows.

Also Tannehill in the first round is like taking Cade McNown, Rex Grossman or Jim Druckenmiller in the first round....except higher, no good will come of that.
