1. Prince Amukamara // CB // Nebraska
Proved at the combine that he's not as far off, athletically, from Peterson as many believed. I like his reserved confidence too, he's a great kid.

2. Marcus Cannon // OG/OT // TCU
Supreme athleticism for a man his size, I think he's actually athletic enough to play OT, but at worst he can slide inside to guard.

3. Kenrick Ellis // DE // Hampton
Another guy that has great athleticism for his size, and I'm not just saying that because he's my Pet Cat.

4. John Moffitt // OG // Wisconsin
Really considered Deunta Williams here, and if he was the pick I wouldn't be upset but I'm not ready to give up on AOA and of course Huff is out there. We can't afford to keep putting off rebuilding our O-Line.

5. Marcus Gilchrist // CB // Clemson
Strong, athletic, fast and special teams experience. What more could you ask from a mid-round CB prospect?

6. Cecil Shorts III // WR // Mount Union
Ran slower than I expected at the combine, but I'm still down to see what he can do as a slot receiver since we have #1 and #2 locked up for a good long while anyway.

7. Mark LeGree // SS // Appalachian State
I like the idea of a playmaker at SS, but wouldn't rely on LeGree to start here from Day 1.

I think Ellis is a DT, not DE....

As did I early on, but the more I see him, the more I think he'd make a great DE. He's got the size and is athletic enough to do it.

He is in no form of fashion Haloti Nagta, but I'm thinking we use him in a similar role as a massive DE.

I think your top four picks would be realistic and to our benefit, would love to squeeze in Dontay Moch, or Carl Klugg from Iowa. Your choices could net us three starters and that is a coup.

Give me Ras-I Dowling instead of Gilchrist and you've got yourself a deal.

again with this guy lasting till the 7th round? lol

7. Appalachian State FS Mark LeGree

No player in this draft class can touch LeGree's 22 career interceptions, but as an FCS small-schooler there were plenty of questions about his athleticism. LeGree didn't burn up the track with his 4.56 forty, but it was the second fastest among all safeties in Indianapolis. Also weighing in at a solid 5'11 1/2" and 210 pounds, LeGree is on the radar as a possible third-round pick.

More LeGree measurables: 9'8" broad jump, 4.09 short shuttle, 6.90 three cone

This mock is actually awesome, but since it does not have Hynoski I can't get on board.

Haha...we need that FB.

here is my problem with amukamara at 9, i just dont think he is worth it. i dont think he is any better of a prospect than mccourty was last year and he was had much later.

I'd like to hear more about why you think those two are similar as prospects?

so you'd ignore a player in a position of need who won't be there next time we pick because you think theres not much difference between him and a player who went later in a previous draft?
no point drafting any quarter backs or wide receivers really because they're unlikely to be so much better than austin or romo to justify not checking out undrafted players instead.
