chemistry, this is interview with michael irvin, i think someone posted this but not sure

when your winning no one cares,. but when your losing everyone points a finger

across the board last year, may not have been players caring but now they do for each other

when times are tough, guys dont point fingers, that has got to be the right way

one announcer says cowboys will play a game in january, oh the dude, cowboys play their last game in january of reg season

i think jason garrett has started taking the ball out of romo's hands to not make turnovers, but when you play the chargers and saints your going to have to score with ball in romos hands

jason garrett must put the players in postition to win and make catches etc

only peyton manning and curt warner have had more td passes in dec i think he said, trying to type and listen sorry if i miss some, but was ex 49ers coach maruichi however you spell his name

say that only 2 qbs in the nfl have thrown more td passes then romo and that romo will come through this year

I love Deion ,but did you see the anguish on his face when discussing ROMO and the cowboys. He dosen't want to give romo any credit, because he was one who thought ROMO would suffer without T.O.

Faulk and Sanders both agreed Jason Garrett has to put Dallas in positions to succeed. That wasn't exactly breaking news, but they believe it will be Garrett not Romo who will decide our fate in December.

Are they talking negatively about him?

alittle, but not much, mainly when romo has to throw like against teams that air it out and jason garrett will have to put the ball back in romos hands

He said over the 1st 50 games started that only Manning and Warner have thrown for more yards and TD's than Romo

No problem. maruichi made that observation and I have seen him talk highly of Romo before. I also recall him talking last year that it was not just Romo but the poor play upfront that was the main problem. Romo took 12 sacks alone in Dec more than any month and that is hard to overcome when facing some of the best defense in the NFL that we faced. Believe me I think there were things that fell on Romo but much of the problems was lack of protection up front that took away options for Romo as he did not have much time to find the open man. For Romo and this offense this season to have success it is in the hands of the big boys up front who open holes and give Romo time in the passing game.

Bingo, you hit the nail on the head, just like in the 2007 playoff game, where romo was killed by the giants in the 2nd half and the offensive line seemed flat;

No doubt. In the 07 game the oline started the game doing well in the 2nd half the Giants were putting all kinds of pressure on Romo. In my view the offense begins and ends with the big guys up front they are the ones who will open the holes for the running game and they are the ones who can keep the QB standing. If our line does their jobs I like our chances because we have some big play players on this offense

Deion doesn't know what he is talking about as usual. He was saying that we will be facing teams that can score and that will leave the ball in the hands of Romo to win games. Has Deion not been paying attention. Romo has been winning games this year through the air. These teams are going against a defense that allows about 16-17 points a game. I agree that the Saints will be a challenge but the Chargers, Commanders, Giants will have a tough time lighting up this defense. Deion just says this stuff because he has been proven wrong in his assessment of the Cowboys before the season like Stephen A. Smith, Warren Sapp, Faulk, Woodson, Meshawn, Emmitt, and Jamie Dukes.

Sanders would be wise just to not comment on Romo. Every time he does he makes himself look foolish.

So I'm minding my own business watching the Jets-Bills on NFL Network -- not because I want to but because my contracts says I have to -- and the halftime conversation turns to the Cowboys.

There's Michael Irvin interviewing Tony Romo and asking him what's the difference this season in his relationship with his receivers. Romo never mentioned Terrell Owens but said, "This team, If there is a difference, this team looks at themselves individually and asks, 'How can I get better? How can I improve?'...Whereas It may not have been that way across the board last year."

Then Romo added: "People support each other. When times get tough they don't turn and point fingers. Everyone asks themselves how can we do better to help the team, help turn it around. That approach has got to be the right way."

Yes, Romo was talking about Terrell Owens. The guys in the studio -- Rich Eisen, Deion Sanders and Marshall Faulk even mentioned his name.

In NFLN interview, Romo avoids mentioning T.O.'s name
Posted by Mike Florio on December 3, 2009 10:07 PM ET

Michael Irvin of NFL Network recently interviewed Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. The final product will be broadcast on Sunday morning, as part of NFL Gameday Morning.

In an excerpt that aired during halftime of Thursday night's game between the Jets and the Bills, Romo talked about the differences between last year and this year for his team.

Romo made vague reference to a player who wasn't happy, and who was "emotional." But Romo never mentioned the name of the player in question -- receiver Terrell Owens.

So why do we have a feeling that Owens will at some point be responding, and specifically mentioning Romo when doing so?

Last season, Owens reportedly was complaining about the lack of passes thrown his way, specifically alleging (allegedly) that Romo and tight end Jason Witten were conspiring privately to funnel more balls toward Witten.

After the season, Owens was cut, supposedly to remove a fairly large impediment to Romo's ability to lead the team.

Funny how they end up talking about Dallas and Romo's December woes at half-time of the Bills-Jets game from Toronto.

I just watched Jamie Dukes said he believed the Giants would win this Sunday and then say the thing he didn't like about what he saw of the interview piece they showed of Romo with Irvin is that if Romo didn't wet the bed in December they wouldn't be talking about December problems.

I love how he, along with a handful of other completely ignorant people, act like Romo is the only one whose struggled at all during December runs. I love how quickly they forget that Romo gave them oppurtunities to win the Ravens game only to watch his defense wet the bed.

I suppose the Eagles loss last year was all his fault too despite the fact that his O-Line, running backs, defense, special teams, and everyone else didn't bother to show up either.

I'm so tired of people speaking out of their ***** when it comes to a team sport by acting like it's an individual sport.
