IF an award is a season award then it should be for the full season including playoffs
leaving them out makes no real sense. These are the toughest of games; the most difficult teams to beat.
So those that show up then should have this added to their regular season
and also those that DO NOT SHOW UP should also have it applied
Patrick Mahones has been great in the post season; sometimes not that great in the season
but because of that people like Lamar Jackson who have NOT shown up in the post season get awards
To me that is wrong

Thirteen out of the fourteen teams that go to the playoffs are going to lose their last game. Any individual award is going to taste bitter.
Besides the fact that not every player gets to compete in the playoffs, there is also the fact that teams will not be playing an equal number of games.
12 teams will play in the Wildcard round
8 teams will play in the division round
4 teams in the Conference round
2 in the Super Bowl

The NFL has Conference championship trophies and there is the Super Bowl trophy. There is also the SB MVP, the only individual award.
If a RB runs for 300 yards in two playoff games, nobody is going to care if his team didn't make it to the SB. I really don't think the RB would accept any individual award. it just sends the wrong message.

And some fans only want to measure success with what happens in the playoffs for certain players. As you mentioned above all pro is a regular season stat that they will hold up and boast about for other players yet it is a regular season stat as well.

I suppose this is good to know since we all know Dak sucks in the playoffs. His soiled diapers against the good teams shouldn't count against him, right?
