Sorry, but I dont see it. Dude looks invisible out there at times. There is no way you can convince me that Osa has been a better player than Jalen Carter or Aaron Donald this year…

Biadasz, Kearse, LVE, MG13, JLew, DA, Gilmore, , TP20 for starters. DLaw and ZM come off the books (though might be brought back in some capacity) after next year too. Even Trey Lance has a $5m cap hit that comes off. That's a lot of cap dollars off the books in two years.

Keep editing to add names lol. There are a lot of guys who are probably coming off the books after this year, and they have some of the highest cap hits on the team.

Armstrong, Kearse, Lewis, Gilmore, TP20 and Biadasz account for over $30m cap dollars.
Most of those decisions probably have been already earmarked. Think it is telling that Biadasz never received an extension, which probably means he will be playing elsewhere in 2024.

Yea, it's not like those decisions are going to sneak up on the Cowboys lol.

I think Gallup and making a choice between Lawrence and Armstrong are the obvious choices. Can they go all rookie contract at WR after Lamb?

Re-upping Bland after year three and moving some into year 4 will help keep his figures down
There are going to be some difficult decisions. I would like to keep Cooks, but they might not be in the cards.

Cooks/Gilmore/Pollard/Biaz/Kearse/Lewis/Armstrong probably playing somewhere else next season. DLaw/Tyron have played well, they will be tough decisions to keep. Gallup certainly could be a cap casualty. What happens with Lve?

I think it all depends on how Cooks finishes. I dont think bring him back next year will be too difficult. How good is he though. They aren't bringing him back if the rest of the season mirrors his first half of the season. If he can finish with around 900 or so yard, I can see him staying 1 more year as a bridge player to see what they have in Tolbert, Brooks and unnamed draftee before moving on

Pretty much all of those names are replaceable. May want to hold on to one of Lawrence/Armstrong. Biadasz maybe if you arent paying him like a Pro Bowler. Having that attached to his name may make that difficult. He is decent but no cornerstone level lineman
The issue with biadasz is he will get offers like a pro bowler and it’s not easy to find a center. You don’t want to use a top pick but we’ve seen what not having a center can cause. Ideally you have a guy in waiting but we’ve seen so little of Hoffman to really judge

Grades from what establishment? He doesn’t specify and it doesn’t seem like he works for any of the common ones. PFF Grades, ESPN win rate Grades, EPA/DVOA grades… Does BloggingTheBoys have their own proprietary grading system?
Why are you crapping on this?

Why do you think I’m crapping on this? I’m asking in what context it’s being presented. The different rating metrics highlights different aspects.

No need to go attack mode

Dallas is one of the best drafting and developing teams in the league
Without the use of fa, they have to draft well. Players like Taco really set them back. They were fortunate after Joseph busted, Bland filled that role.

Believe he still has a yr left on his contract at an affordable rate. If he continues to play well, much rather see them keep him over a Gallup.
