We lose it off Spectrum (Time Warner) sometime this month.

I see it's off or going to be off one of the satellite dish lineups... I think the channel is pretty much dead.

This is gonna hurt. Luv my horror flicks. Can't believe one of them can't survive on a dish or cable lineup.

But Chiller's quality has taken a big dump the last several months, parent company (NBC) seemed to give the channel crap as far as movies go... We see the same flicks over and over and over while there is a vast library of titles out there and I would have to think the broadcast rights are next to nothing.

I've looked at Shudder.com... That's 4.99 a month and at the moment I can't view it through my Xbox one which means I can't watch it on my bigger TV.

I hate some of the tier packaging on cable and satellite companies.

Like with starz you get some decent other channels like IFC, Sundance western but you also get a decent number of Various Starz channels that sometimes will play the same movies as the other channels. I understand if you have a regular one and HD version of one but if you have different versions of the starz channels...why play the same movies on at the same time. At least add some different movies for a bit more of a variety. The other day they had one movie on 4-5 of the the starz channels.

Yeah, I could. The recent changes at Chiller have really knocked down the quality of the channel. They've added a bunch of older non-horror programing like "Ripley's Believe it or Not". It's the same nonsense NBC (nothing but crap) did to the SyFy channel.

I'll probably just get a Shudder subscription for $5 a month.

i had twc and it's been fine but their menu system is so...2000. i spend like $130 a month for internet phone and tv but most of that is because i have like 200gb download. when i want my adult movies...i want them NOW!

but i am thinking of dropping to 60mbps down - that's fine and then getting dish or direct tv again for a base set of channels. i don't think i'm ready to cut the cord just yet but i wouldn't mind putting a dent in it.

I started my Shudder subscription... $5 a month.

Very pleased so far.

Hooked my laptop up to the TV in my office so I don't have to watch movies on the computer monitor.

Nice selection of films.

Not really sure exactly what Chiller shows anymore. Used to catch Buffy on there. There's a channel called Horror 24/7 on Pluto TV, don't have a clue what it shows. I watch other channels on the service.

Chiller has gone down hill... Still going to miss it, but they repeating the same movies over and over again... And we're not talking movies like "Blair Witch" or even some good "B" level horror films... Instead they're giving up "The Boy" or "The Monkee's Paw" or "Animal" which were all made by Chiller... And of course the lousy or old TV shows like "Ripley's Believe it or Not".

No, and certainly Netflix is an option.

Gotta say though at the moment Shudder seems fill the need nicely. Something like 800 horror films at the moment.
