There has never been a better time to beg Troy Aikman to come home

I’m not gonna make this some long-winded post, but this is the time, for the great 8 to return to Texas.

There are rumors that Aikman may not even finish out the year : they’re talking Kurt Warner as a possible replacement already.

Even if he finishes out the year, he is done at ESPN, and he’s most likely done as a prime time announcer, as there’s only so many chairs in the musical set. Right now, he’s oddman out.

He’s too prideful. to be some radio call in host or a studio host or a podcaster.

This season, this season is gonna is about to go up in flames- worse than we could’ve imagined.

Give him whatever title you want to give him, special advisor to the GM will do.

Just get him back in the fold.

He might be the only guy that Jerry will ever listen to.

i would love it, but its not going to happen. Watched a vid of Dale Hanson saying Jerry was complaining that it just "wasnt fun for him" when parcells was HC. He wants a yes man and win just enough to sell hope.

Exactly what makes you think Aikman is some GM savant? How's Miami doing?

I'd agree. He is ripe for the asking. Out of contract with bspn. Go get him. Get him in the mix, in any capacity. Let him get a feel for what can help. Unless he signed something with Miami, Id do it. We have nothing to lose.

He will NEVER work for Jerry. Maybe, Stephen someday. Troy always had a good relationship with him.

There is thirty years of evidence suggesting alterations to the front office excluding Jerry and Stephen Jones is ineffective. Why would adding anyone, including Troy Aikman, produce different results if oversight management never changes?
