People are also forgetting how tough it is to win back to back road games in the NFL. This OAK game was always going to be a nail-biter. I didn't think it would be quite as bad as it was, but it was always going to be a close game.

Or the Bucs and Falcons beating the Panthers. The Panthers (seems like a bit of a longshot but divisional games are always interesting) and Falcons (barely beat Saints last time and this time it's in New Orleans, not to mention they still have the Bucs on Monday which means short rest and another chance to lose) both lose one more by next week, and the Lions lose in Cincinnati (not as impossible as it might seem as dome teams who are dependent on the pass and are dead last on the ground... generally don't play that good outside in the snow) and all of a suddenly we control our own destiny. I ain't heard no fat lady.

Edit: also if the Saints lose their last two we got the tiebreaker on them. If Bucs just win one of their last 3 that would mean so much for us.

The good news is that we won. We won without playing a great game. We are due for a couple of good games. If we get into the playoffs (by a mini miracle) then they had better watch out. It could get ugly for our opponents.
