Report: Travis Henry fails NFL drug test

Former Denver Broncos running back Travis Henry has tested positive for marijuana again, reports Fox 31 Sports in Colorado.

An NFL source told the television station late Thursday about the positive test and said Henry likely would be suspended for a year for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

In December 2007, Henry won an appeal regarding a previous positive test for marijuana. He can appeal again and would have five days to do so after receiving official notification of the positive test.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said, "We don't comment on reports about drug tests. We just comment on suspensions."

Henry is a free agent after being cut by the Broncos in June.

Because they are already in the substance abuse program which has a set of criteria they must meet. And really, until they retire they are still in the NFL and must meet the NFL requirements. Bryant lost his argument with that angle.

On my lunch break Scott Van Pelt was talking about this and comparing it to the Shawn Kemp children by different mothers. Apparently one of the boys is named Shawn Kemp as well and he is as basketball player. Other kids are contacting him on his personal page and telling him they are his brother or his sister.

As someone who found out by accident a couple of weeks ago that I have a brother and sister I never knew about, I can't imagine how that young man must feel, but I bet my sister can, given how I found her by accident.

stupid, stupid people, throwing all that money away, I don't care about them wasting all this promise and fulfilling a dream we all want to share, it's about that money could have went somewhere good
