There is no bench to empty with a 53-man roster

To everyone who is calling for us to "rest all the starters," like Bellichick said, there is no such thing with a 46-man game day roster and 53-man overall roster. At best, on offense, we can sit Tyron and maybe Zeke. But you are going to have to play the rest of your OL, and Dez, Wit (we only have 2 TEs), and Dak. On defense, at best, we might sit Lee, but are already sitting Mo, T Craw, DLaw, Thornton, Durant. So, we have to play most of our team and cross our fingers.

Very true, especially when you have a half dozen injured guys or more and you want to get the starters some playing time to stay sharp.

I would play Zeke for no more than a half against Philly,not worried about others.

Lee isn't going to sit. I was surprised to hear that he has played every defensive snap this year
