I watched the Green Bay game. I care about this team around as much as they cared about that game.
Yes, but if that's the case, you've already given up. I never give up, and always have hope that someone/something will happen where we start drafting smarter. This last draft, for instance, was much better than we've been doing.Probably, but I'm also not naive enough to think this FO would use the money better elsewhere. He may still be our best shot, and I know that's not a comfortable fact for many.
Na, I haven't given up. I'll hold out hope we can get enough run game and defense to play late season football. Of course I wish we had a couple upgrades. Given the right team I think Dak can get it done, but we have to hit at the right positions.Yes, but if that's the case, you've already given up. Our hope right now rests in Zimmer, who will be HC in 25. Jerry only listens to his own, and Zimmer is one of his guys.
I guess I just don't understand the sentiment of "Jerry will waste it anyway". That means you think we should pay Dak 55-60 mil. Dak cannot get it done w/ that sort of salary taking up such huge cap space. Pretty much impossible. I mean, look at this offseason. Why didn't we grab a FA of note? Because Dak is hitting the salary cap for 45 mil. So, when you pay him huge, you severely restrict yourself.Na, I haven't given up. I look at it as a long shot either way. Just gonna try to enjoy the ride, and keep expectations on par.
After the last playoff loss to SF in AT&T Stadium I remember saying that I would never attend another Cowboys' game. Fast forward to this year, I have tickets to attend the Cowboys/Bengals game at AT&T and tickets to see the Cowboys/Panthers game in North Carolina. I tried to take a stand and say that I would just watch them on TV but I am hooked. I even told my wife that I wasn't purchasing any more merchandise until they got their crap together. Oops, I bought a Dallas Cowboys cap yesterday. Call me a fool or call me a diehard fan but I just live for football season and the DALLAS COWBOYS.
We have tickets in the Gridiron Club section. My friend was able to get 4 tickets through his company. Was at the game in Charlotte NC last year and the 2 in a row when the tuna was coaching us. Will be back again this year, we have more boys fans there than Panthers fans, it’s a home game really.
Yeah I was around for that. The signature moment was in the last game of the season Darren Hambrick made a tackle for loss and started dancing. The announcers said “you know when you’re 5-11 in a blowout loss don’t dance “. And that pretty much summed up that. You say that but...we had 3 12 win seasons to provide some fuel. Let it be 3 5-11 seasons like we had under Campo. Were you around for that? I was...and let me tell...I can barely remember 2004-5 season. It was an s-show if there ever was one.
Scuba Dave.

Amen. And it's that if Dak goes unsigned, there will be no revolt by the blind sheep that file into AT&T in lockstep. However, there are many of us that have been apathetic for 10 + years who ARE JUST WAITING FOR AN EXCUSE to pursue other interests and finally put this three decade S show in our rear view mirrors. Go ahead and sign him, and see what happens. I just found out over the weekend that we play Cleveland....there was a day when I'd already have the first six games on our schedule memorized.....home and away.
Sounds like someone in an abusive relationship. 30 years of mistreatment and you are "getting close just need a push to leave."And it's that if Dak goes unsigned, there will be no revolt by the blind sheep that file into AT&T in lockstep. I was hoping he'd be resigned, but in light of this bit of news, now I hope he walks. And it's that if Dak goes unsigned, there will be no revolt by the blind sheep that file into AT&T in lockstep. Not signing Dak has no near term downside for Jerry. And it's that if Dak goes unsigned, there will be no revolt by the blind sheep that file into AT&T in lockstep. Duh....that would be a sign of apathy.Nope
Not a fan of Ferentz....he is NOT what everyone makes him out to be.Then you were not a real fan.
The Stans are the blind sheep. And Jerry could care less about your feelings. And it's that if Dak goes unsigned, there will be no revolt by the blind sheep that file into AT&T in lockstep. Stans! LolzYep, I am not sacrificing time with my family and making other concessions with my schedule to make watching the Cowboys a priority anymore.
Jerry has finally broken me.
