Yet again i go to the movies, and yet again im pissed.

Wait not pissed, deeply and throughly let down. They just dont make good movies anymore. This movie was long and boring, the only bright spot was daniel day lewis (i like him).

but what makes me more mad is people like this movie, people liked no country for old men. but why? I dont understand, they arent entertaing, like movies are supposed to be. I just dont get how these are nominated.

Slower more thought provoking movies may not be your speed. This is not a slight on you at all. You like action to keep you interested others don't.

Actually my name is locked and loaded because i hunt and i think it sounds cool. Action movies often get out of hand (die hard movies) my favorite movie is good will hunting, i usualy hate action movies.

Daniel day lewis acting was great in blood, to bad not even him could save that movie. I think i do have to stop seeing movies, i go to movies to be entertained, on the edge of my seat.

And people just are finding ways to love old men, i tried forcing myself. Im so sick of hearing "when anton walks in i was so scared i couldnt breath, he is the scariest murder ever, he demands to be feared". He wasn't scary, he didnt put fear in me.

I hate when people say i loved that movie but have no reasons to back it up.

Just watched Gangs last night -- decent film making -- mediocre, sometimes cliche story. Thought Leo and Cameron Diaz were not so great. Good but not great movie. Cut the stupid love story and you've got a much cleaner film.

the aviator... with decaprio? i made it an hour into that film, i did not enjoy it to say the least. Scorsesses films always seem to be half an hour to long.

Gangs of New York was awful, but had good acting.

I have not seen TWBB, or NCFOM, but I plan to. I'm always leery of a Coen Bros. movie, as I generally hate them and can't understand what people find amusing about them. They seem 1 step up from the (insert genre here) Movie films. Better production, but the same unentertaining, unfunny material without the pop culture references. No Country doesn't look like most Coen movies so I'm interested.

I don't really know much about There Will Blood, but with all the good word, I'm interested. But I would not be surprised if it was long and dull and boring (I'm hearing the same thing about Atonement). People often praise long boring movies like they are great art and really thought provoking when they're nothing close to that and drag on at a snail's pace to boot.

I don't care much for Martin S. films, but he makes a lot of Gang/Mob related movies which aren't my cup of tea. Aviator and Departed weren't too bad, particularly The Departed.

Good acting. Good directing. Good story. Liked the intensity. Loved the ending.

Basically, the same reasons you'd like any other good movie. But you're too busy drowning in your terrible taste to realize that. It must suck to not realize what's good art and what isn't. But I'm sure you get a kick out of the Terminator series on television.

They're broad, general answers because you don't understand what separates good acting from bad acting and good directing from bad directing.

It's clear that you want an "entertaining" movie like Die Hard. Just go see those movies instead.
