There will be no drop off with Sanchez

I live in NY and have watched many Jets games over the years. Sanchez could never get it done in NY and he had a good OL and enough skill players. Philly goes no where with him leading the team.

I live in NY area too and while he had good OL he never had any skill players. You can't even make a top five and if you try I will be laughing after number 1 and possibly at 1 too. Having said that it's not like Philly has all the talent in the world this year. Their OLine is a weakness and the receivers and tight ends are average. Shaddy is obviously a top 5 RB but for some reason he is either being underutilized, the blocking isn't there for him, he's not the same runner or a little bit of all 3.

I am not a Sanchez fan just thought it was funny that you said the Jets had skill players.

What does that even mean?

Game 1 against SF he was still off from his back surgery and his legs were a little dead. Against Washington he went out with a back injury and never should have been playing late in that game. He didn't play against Arizona.

He wasn't right in any one of the losses. All the other games where he was normal or close to normal (Jacksonville), were wins.

My bad. I thought it was self-explanatory.

Weeden wasn't exactly playing against chopped liver against AZ and he was missing both Free and Leary IIRC. I'm assuming AZ made Detroit's Stafford look pretty bad. What did Stafford have, something like 6 pts?

Has that defense traveled with him since he's been in the NFL? He's sucked his entire career.

Sanchez is awful and will remain that way until Foles comes back.

When is Foles expected back?

My honest evaluation of Sanchez after getting to watch the last two games in full is that for the most part, he definitely can replace Foles in the offense. He may end up being a little better, or a little worse, but it's not going to be something like the falling apart last season in Green Bay when Rodgers went down. The Cowboys are still going to have to line up and beat the Eagles with a couple of good games. The Eagles unfortunately are not going to get their own Weeden here (although Sanchez and Weeden have almost the exact same career rating).

What does that have to do with what I said?

You talked about Romo being elite and Weeden being, um, not elite. I just mentioned that Dallas really hasn't lost when Romo has been physically right.

I feel like I'm typing in pig-latin tonight. Nobody gets what I'm saying...

I was mentioning the ability of the top two QBs for both teams.

You responded by saying Dallas really hasn't lost this year with Romo.

Oh. I get it now.

The Eagles can win games with Sanchez at the helm, but we've got to find a way to capitalize on the fact he's their starting QB when we face them.

He's mostly able to move past his first and second reads, and looks very comfortable throwing those crossing routes to typically wide-open receivers due to the design of the play. But he tends to airmail a handful of balls each game; even in the victory over Carolina, he missed multiple open receivers. He also tends to throw "interceptable" passes -- had one or two that were dropped today, as was the case against Carolina. And you never know when the next "butt fumble" is right around the corner with this guy. His errors tend to be of the goofy variety, like him swatting around at that loose ball on the bad snap that resulted in a TD.

Was there a butt fumble anywhere? (the single most embarrassing play in NFL history. Jim Marshall breathed a sigh of relief somewhere after seeing that play. :))

What ! Lol I've seen tons of dumb plays.

That play is embarrassing but I've seen a lot more that don't get hyped.. anybody remember the idiot Andre Gurode just sitting in one spot for an entire play. No clue how that happens..I'm still in awe with that.
