I like the makeup of the team right now, A lot probably don't agree but I feel this is a 10+ win team as is.

Silently, the Front Office seemed to have maneuvered each unit to only have 1 or 2 with more than 5 years experience:

• 3 - Special Teams (Punter, Long Snapper, Gunner (also a CB))
• 7 - Offense (2 QB's, 2 RB's, 2 OL's, 1 WR)
  • 5 are skill positions (2 QB's, 2 RB's, WR)
  • 2 are linemen
  • 0 TE's
• 8 - Defense (2 DL's, 2 LB's, 2 CB's, 2 S's)

Overall - young, talented team with a few veterans sprinkled in.

Your thread title stated there’s a lot to be proud of with this team and I don’t see that. You’re really reaching if you see a lot to be proud of. We’re coming off the worst playoff debacle in franchise history. We did virtually nothing in free agency. We have a lame duck head coach, and our franchise QB still hasn’t been extended and could be gone after this season. Not to mention our top WR is holding out. We did nothing in free agency so we could have the cap room to sign our best players and we still can’t sign them. Attendance has been down at training camp for the first time ever. It’s hard to pick a position to show some joy about because we’re in training camp and haven’t seen any of these young players in a game. If you want me to dig for one positive, Guyton has gotten good reviews. We’ll see how he looks in preseason, and when the regular season arrives.

Let's try thinking positive on a post, I know it happens so much in this blog lounge! How impressive have these players been in camp. Now I know it's just camp, and we haven't played against anyone from another team.

Look at our depth at certain positions, look at how some of our rookies, players returning from injuries, and second year players are coming along. It's something to be proud of.

The LB room surely looks different and is going to be doing different things under Zim that should at least make us happy because we're going to make opposing offense actually have to think!

Our WR depth has been something to be happy about, our depth on the OL is awesome. Then you look at our secondary, you have to smile extremely hard! Carson has the potential to be something special along with the guys we already have back there.

Please give your thoughts, and remember to be positive!!

Well if it makes you feel better a lot of these guys bodies sill be broken down by 50…some will have CTE, some may already have it, some will get dementia….
