Yep, we'll say "Ohhhhh.....this is that thread that didn't make any sense."

-My quote is perfect - we quit on something that wasn't to bad to begin with(and he's not hurt anymore -word is he could kick Opening Day at the worst WK2) now we're stuck with the unknown.

Who is to say we wont re-sign him after the SD game?

"Word"? What 'word'? Link! Link!

Cundiff suffered a quadriceps injury. He couldn't kick. As a placekicker, kicking is kinda necessary.

At the time of his injury, p-h-y-s-i-c-i-a-n-s advised Parcells that Cundiff couldn't kick for six weeks. This meant that Parcells couldn't depend on him to be ready to kick against:

San Diego...

Washington...

San Francisco...

Oakland...

As a head coach, it would be freaking irresponsible for him to go into the season and depend upon a kicker who may be the difference between four wins or losing a quarter of the season. Cortez isn't the best Parcells could have done at PK, but he's better than Cundiff right now.

BadAttitude, you're truly an American original. :)
