"Word"? What 'word'? Link! Link!
Cundiff suffered a quadriceps injury. He couldn't kick. As a placekicker, kicking is kinda necessary.
At the time of his injury, p-h-y-s-i-c-i-a-n-s advised Parcells that Cundiff couldn't kick for six weeks. This meant that Parcells couldn't depend on him to be ready to kick against:
San Diego...
Washington...
San Francisco...
Oakland...
As a head coach, it would be freaking irresponsible for him to go into the season and depend upon a kicker who may be the difference between four wins or losing a quarter of the season. Cortez isn't the best Parcells could have done at PK, but he's better than Cundiff
right now.
BadAttitude, you're truly an American original.
