Besides it basically being impossible to be any worse than Brad Johnson, I remember watching him in college; he has some mobility and a decent arm.

it's Wade's ****ed up philosophy of wanting to go w/ the vets 1st

only Red is not afraid to take chances

this team lacks toughness, mental stability, and daring, and it all starts w/ the weak, dumb, and scared Wade Phillips

Putting Crayton at QB and running the wildcat all game would be an upgrade. Dudes got serious arm.

It was painful to watch but the o-line and defense could have helped a little.

Why the coaching staff thought 40 year old Brad Johnson would be the answer in the first place is beyond my understanding. The guy was on his last leg four years ago. We should have been grooming a real QB to step in a long time ago.

Watching Brad today reminded me of, oh I don't know, what I saw from him with the Minnesota Vikings in 2006. A lot of people were saying (hoping?) we'd be in safe hands with him, but today reiterated a lot of the fears so many of us here had when he was signed (I may not have posted back then, but I was reading).

Should have kept that kid who wound up with the Panthers.

Maybe we wouldn't have lost so badly.

Uhm, did you see him in the Cowboys vs. Vikes preseason game a few months ago?

we would be fine w/ Brad if Garrett wasn't convinced that you can succeed w/ a vertical passing offense

That actually sounds like a good idea. Not running it all game, but if we are able to do that would have defenses guessing.

I get what you're saying, but you're talking preseason -- where passers aplenty post ungodly numbers against uninspired, unprepared defenses.

Even Richard Bartel didn't look half bad at times during the preseason.

Thats on the GM, Jerry Jones. He calls player and roster calls with Parcells gone.
