Except the Cowboys... if you can't hold a 13 point lead midway through the final quarter, you're gonna lose... if you can't make plays when it counts, you're gonna lose...

No excuses, no justifications... no nothing... just a blown opportunity...

:hammer:

No excuses, questionable calls are part of the game. We had a ton of opportunities in this game and didn't take advantage of them. The loss is on us.

it's almost like bad Karma, in the way we won last year. It still makes me sick. To think I have to get up for work in three hours and I am so pissed I cant sleep. :banghead:

No...there's nobody to blame....

1st and 10: Run gets you 6 yards.
2nd and 4: What should you do? Pass when we HAVE to have a first down? Or run?
We pass...incomplete.
3rd and 4: Pass again? Sure, why not? Incomplete.
4th down: Hmmm.

The play-calling was WITHOUT A DOUBT, dreadful in the fourth qtr.

The play-calling NEEDS to go back to BP in the fourth qtr. when we have a lead.

We deserve to lose this game. Gave up 14 points and two 4th down conversion in a 3 min span. Our Defense need to learn to play 60min and play DEEP!

I would have tried another run at 2nd and 4 but that is I am sitting here and not being paid to make the calls.

1. Sean Payton - we should have been running the ball every play in the 4th.
2. Roy Wlliams - beat twice for deep TDs in 4 minutes? Unexcusable.

Just ridiculous. Give Julius the rock 3 times and you have your 4 yards at LEAST.

Aren't people complaining that we were too conservative?

Yeah it's wierd isn't it? We're conservative the whole game. Then when we get the ball back we start passing (3 passes after the score went up 13-7). Hmmm. *** was that? It's like they were playing to stop the clock.

Expect a AH jam on every single play Moss is on the field next time around.
I feel like I have been stood up. That FF to Glenn seemed to drive the stake into Washington's hearts but like Pitt from last year bad playcalling and execution kill our lead and we lose. VT fumbles when we are up 10 points (I think) Pitt scores twice and wins by four. But expect some Cowboy love in the news giving us some credit for no TO's and sacks on Bledsoe. Our season is on the ups and sadly IMO the Commanders seem to start skidding after their Bye week.

It's funny......the one thing we always make fun of the ES dudes about is how they complain about the officiating.....yet, here some of us are.

:laugh2:

I'll never blame the officials for a loss......there's just too much in the game that happens. We should have won.....we had opportunities to put the game away but didn't..

It's not like the plays didn't work is that the players didn't execute right. I mean Taylor make a great hit on Crayton so give him credit. And Glenn for some apparant reason decided to run a 2 yards pattern instead of 5 yard. The plays were there and we didn't make them.

Excuses are for losers... if the Cowboys make the plays they're supposed to, they win the game... instead, they choked...

I hate saying that, but it's the plain and simple truth... and the refs didn't make that happen...

If you don't admit that you've screwed up, you can't learn from your mistakes...

And for God's sake, get Jose Cortez outta here... don't let him lose another game for us...

you know...when it happens so much though you have to find the real reason...

the guy running it has been coaching the defense for 6 yrs, and this same thing happens constantly...we dont step on people when they are down, especially on defense...he has no feel how to call a game with a lead
