Yes the emphamis phrase of one Stephen Jones! Moving along, there's several players on this team that are taking up sizeable portions of our cap. I know all the blame can't go on them, but when you're making that much, you should be living those contract numbers.

What are your thoughts on this. Of course I will get bashed, but at your job you're making a lot of money, I'm sure your boss expects a lot out of you???????!

I'm willing to bet that every team has a player or two (or five) not living up to their contract. Nothing unique to our team. But yes, in every team sport, if you are making the big bucks, delivering the goods on the playing field should follow. I think we all know that that simply doesn't happen far too often for the fan's liking.

Agreed, but especially when the owner is over paying for players he shouldn't be because they had a good season

Can we add Tank maybe. There's guys making less that have BIGGER IMPACTS on the games they play in

I think Tank is closer than the other guys. He is still our best run defender. He doesn't make the splash plays like Parsons, but he is still a valuable piece. He's only getting 40 snaps a game which is 20-25 fewer than Parsons. I haven't checked but I think he is getting subbed out in passing situations pretty regularly. I know our run defense sucks but he's at the bottom of the reasons for it.

That's to preserve him yet he needs to be playing more with that kind of money sent his way

And yet the quote by Little Anus a few years ago stated the cap is not an impediment at all. (Paraphrased.) He essentially said people don't understand the cap and how to manipulate it.

So which is it? Is it malleable, or a hard ceiling that as your team ages, it cripples your ability to make moves?

And if it is this hard ceiling, then explain the Eagles and their spend-a-holic off season.

Thing is, sometimes you have to overpay for a player, or be stuck with absolute garbage at the position.

With the exception of the QB position, I don't believe it's a good strategy to have a top heavy roster. It's better to have 9 solid players as a opposed to 3 superstars and 6 jags.

There are probably a handful of players making way under their production. Maybe it balances out. Bottom line is coaching is important with a salary cap. Without a salary cap a team could throw Barry Switzer out there, for example.

And there are several on this team playing with justifiable salary/contracts right now. I'm tossing a hint.

Only thing is at my job , it's none of yours or any bodies GOT DAMN BUSINESS !!!!!! It's between me and my employer.. As long as He's happy I'm happy . I wish a Mother's Coitus would come into my office saying my production wasn't up to

snuff. I'd spit in his face an have security remove his ***. But that's were we are. lesser people think they have the right to be critical of men much greater than them at what they do.

I'm not bashing you, I'm just trying to illustrate how sick this is. Everybody's a Coach, A running back, An owner, It's all social media BS. Just shut the puck up (NHL Reference) and be a fan.

The Eagles are paying a QB 1.6M, their top WR 5.6, and their RBs make nothing. That’s a lot of cap savings.

The Cowboys need to make better decisions when it comes to handing out big contracts.

Stephen Jones makes a lot of money at his job, and he's responsible for these decisions.
