I agree but I noticed you focused on the players, which makes sense.Starting off with the offseason in hiring Parker, that was a big move. Yes we know that he's inexperienced and he's young, but hey maybe this young cat, can show these old dogs some new tricks!! The way we've assembled this roster, it's apparent that we had a plan, and we executed it to the best of our abilities. Are their still positions that could use depth, of course. The biggest issue last season was our defense, what did we do to fix it? We bring in guys like Thompson, Durant, Locke, Gary, Bullard, Otito. Then we draft Downs, Lawrence, Ballard, Moore, LT. All of these new faces brought in, in a short amount of time. These signings steer differently than our normal signings in the off season (free agents). FA seemed to be well thought out, we missed out on some guys, but at least there was effort put into it!
The offense had a great year, and they cap it off by bringing back Pickens, and resigning Williams. You add a player who's said to have a matured a bit over the offseason in Blue, to go with Flo who had a solid year for us, this offense can go on to be special, and live up to the phrase "GOTI!"
Something just feels different, we can't have made all these moves, only to fall short. With the guys mentioned, to go with those that are already here, I believe we make a push this season that we've been wanting to see. A deep run in the playoffs............. Please give your input

totally agreeI think your on to something..... So far, this training camp has been without distractions (at least player distractions) No Micah Parsons antics, no Diggs drama... just good a good start to training camp so far....Dont miss the Parsons and Diggs drama....at all
you know it wasn't me you know me well!!!I would imagine you said the same thing last July
the way you smell yuck!!That's just a new flavor of preseason, haven't played a game yet hype, you're smelling.
I can take that!!!!! Just the way the roster has been built, doesn't it feel a bit different? People are jumping off the rails, as if I said we had a superbowl teamI’ve fallen for the “Things feel different this year” vibe too many times before. I’m sticking with cautiously optimistic until I see wins.
If anything the defense is NOTHING that we put out there last season!!I believe that the defense will be much improved. I still think that in order for the defense to be top 5we would need at add at least one more linebacker of substance and possibly a legit pass rusher.
This defense might turn out to be top 5 if everything worked out well and we had no injuries. But that hardly ever happens. Unless our first round pass rusher becomes the next great pass rusher, and Barham becomes the next Lawrence Taylor, I think we probably need help at those positions.
feels so good!!!This year feels different than all the previous years that things felt different.
the "coog does it again, the coog, the coog!!"

thanks for adding some positive spin to this!!!!!! mod of the month!!This year feels different because it is different. And in a better way.
It actually started last year.
How does it translate on the field. We need to wait and see.
At last TC is here along with all the hype. But all teams and fans are going through this right now. We will be better.
Even Browns fans feel this year will be different.
folks, the fans aren't booing.....these are chants of Coooooooooooogthe "coog does it again, the coog, the coog!!"![]()
I love #1I agree but I noticed you focused on the players, which makes sense.
I believe that the change can be attributed to two things
I’m significantly more positive this year than last because for the first time in ages it feels like there is a plan and the entire organization is behind it.
- The coaching staff. Schottenheimer, Clayton and Parker are clearly operating with the same intensity and focus and we haven’t seen that type of cohesion in years. Some Zone regulars mock the culture change aspect of football, but they, of course, also will attribute the early 90’s success to Jimmy’s work to wake up a stale and stagnant franchiseb
- Jerry and Stephen - I actively and vocally dislike them both and believe they, particularly Jerry, are awful people, but no coach has been given this degree of staff control since the early Garrett years. What seems to different from even the Garrett years is that the front office has given the coaching staff unprecedented power to bench, cut, draft, the players they want. At least that’s how I remember it.
Let’s hope it shows on the field and in the win loss column.
you can't tell me what to do!Stop it!!!
ohfolks, the fans aren't booing.....these are chants of Coooooooooooog
