There's something about this team that just feels different!

Parker has never been a DC. Shottenheimer has always been been a bottom quartile coach. Jerry is senile. Cap Boy is worse.

Color me skeptical
Be skeptical all you want but when the heavens opened up and Parker and Downs descended onto mount Frisco, I knew that we were on a mission from God.

This isnt merely a "football season" this is now a Spiritual Awakening and I can already feel my Chakra aligning.

I see no reason that we cant finish 2nd in the East.

You think all the D we drafted will bust? Wow. First time I've heard that.
Not what I meant at all. Misunderstanding, and my fault.

They ARE going to need to get it going sooner than later though, and that’s typical. These draftees are very key to the turnaround. This year does offer much more promise than usual, but it’s still the same deal of counting on rookies. Also, it’s very possible that they all play very well, but it doesn’t show up results-wise in the WL column. More along the lines of what I meant by expecting more of the same.

The “mission from God” thing has me singing Sam and Dave tunes in my head.

Starting off with the offseason in hiring Parker, that was a big move. Yes we know that he's inexperienced and he's young, but hey maybe this young cat, can show these old dogs some new tricks!! The way we've assembled this roster, it's apparent that we had a plan, and we executed it to the best of our abilities. Are their still positions that could use depth, of course. The biggest issue last season was our defense, what did we do to fix it? We bring in guys like Thompson, Durant, Locke, Gary, Bullard, Otito. Then we draft Downs, Lawrence, Ballard, Moore, LT. All of these new faces brought in, in a short amount of time. These signings steer differently than our normal signings in the off season (free agents). FA seemed to be well thought out, we missed out on some guys, but at least there was effort put into it!

The offense had a great year, and they cap it off by bringing back Pickens, and resigning Williams. You add a player who's said to have a matured a bit over the offseason in Blue, to go with Flo who had a solid year for us, this offense can go on to be special, and live up to the phrase "GOTI!"

Something just feels different, we can't have made all these moves, only to fall short. With the guys mentioned, to go with those that are already here, I believe we make a push this season that we've been wanting to see. A deep run in the playoffs............. Please give your input
"Something about this team feels different."

You said the exact same thing last year

Please give ur thoughts

This offense is truly talent rich. It amasses 61% of the entire team's budget. Therefore, if Dak can't take one of the best offenses in the entire NFL to the NFC Championship game, he is without a doubt a failure and needs to be replaced in 2027.

It could really be different this year if certain players step up and I don't mean rookies...guyton, steele, blue, mafah, eze, gary, overshown, revel etc.

2nd in the NFC Least will most likely mean no playoff birth.

Stop groping and keep believing!

I’m so glad that I just learned that defense and special teams have nothing to do with the outcome of football games.
