There is no way 32 different organizations- with 32 different philosophies- are so evenly matched.The close games are a result of parity rules implemented in the mid 1990's that make it near impossible for teams to pool too much talent. Landry's and Johnson's cowboys did not have to contend with salary caps and free agency. The parity rules have delivered with the exception of the Brady anomaly. Its kinda like NASCAR now with everyone having to race basically the same machine.....so, the teams that excel have the best GM's who figure out ways to give their franchise an edge. Its got nothing to do with gambling.
Parody, not parity.
We see it very clearly when officials interfere with an ending and when so-called professional players whiff on an easy tackle.
