We’ve become a mediocre franchise. It’s not totally a bad thing. It just takes an adjustment on expectations.

But unfortunately we aren’t a championship caliber football franchise and haven’t been for a generation.

Some of the worst football we've ever seen around here in team history. Held together with duct tape and garbage-time stats.

Especially on offense. Putrid starts Continuous early deficits. Underachieving at every turn. In over its head.

This is just a bad football team.

They team is just in shambles in on so many levels.

-DT, S are still putrid.
-Kicking game is a disaster.
-Nothing from the return game.
-Top WR disappears anytime he goes on the road, still wants top money.
-QB disappears against top defenses, also still wants top money
-RB looks slow as molasses.
-Can't buy a turnover.
-LBs are a clusterF.
-One of the worst CB's in the league (Awuzie)
-Most expensive oline in football can no longer impose its will on teams.
-TE position is meh.

This year's team has broken me as a fan. I'm concerned we might take a serious step back next season with more a dozen FAs looming.

Your probably right. It will take a new coach at least a year to build anything to compete in the division. If JJ picks all the assistants and draft and stays as involved it could be much longer. Not a good outlook either way.
