They all want to be Cowboys (the malcontents that want to hold their current team ransom)

Just curious why no state tax has really any relevance at all to these contracts, these players getting payed could care less.
It was an incentive at one time, but not now.
It’s still a significant savings but only on home games. The reason it doesn’t make much impact is most players don’t have a clue about taxes and agents don’t care what the player actually gets, just the top line number they get paid on

All these players who want a trade to the Cowboys are using Jerry and his history of overpayment to foster a new deal with their current team (ala Deebo).... if they really wanted to be a Cowboy they would accept a trade at the same pay or less ...the players are always about the money and history shows it... they hold the owners captive and than wonder why the team cannot sign free agents etc.....the Cowboys are only one team among many
I don't really understand this thought because most players don't have the ability to dictate trade terms or who they will be traded to (some top tier players have no trade clauses), and most of the time a new contract isn't negotiated before a trade. Deebo, for example, has no way to make SF consider a trade to Dallas, Dallas can't talk to Deebo about what a contract in Dallas would look like, and there really isn't any indication Dallas is pushing or will push for a trade for Deebo. Accordingly, Deebo may say he likes the Cowboys, but he has no ability to use that to help in negotiations with SF.

Which player has said he wants to come to Dallas? What did I miss?

Automatic "star" status and recognition regardless of performance.

Shocking to think a professional athlete playing a sport with an average career of 3.3 years would want to maximize his earnings.
